Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa

The location is gorgeous. Had impala walking past our chalet in the morning. Food at the restaurant is overpriced and not very good. The chalet was clean and well maintained but not of a 5 star standard. A good place for walks just generally relaxing.

Amazing experience. Staff was really friendly and helpful and made my stay even better.

What a beautiful 1 night getaway celebrating my husband’s birthday. After making the booking a very friendly lady called & asked if we were celebrating anything special & for R600 i purchased what is referred to as their ‘Romantic Turndown’.. there were rose petals, tea-light candles, champagne & a bunch of flowers waiting for us when we got to the room. Gorgeous! My only suggestion for this would be to tailor a different turndown option if the celebration is for a male- something else instead of flowers & perhaps some cold beers instead of champagne-just an idea. Unfortunately we did not have supper because we had quite a late lunch: the cocktails & food at the bistro is amazing, pro tip: if you’re into the bacon & Brie combo, there’s a pizza on their menu that will hit the spot! Shout out to Josephine for your great service at the Bistro. We decided to try their hiking trail on the Saturday morning & we were not disappointed, we were lucky enough to see some wildebeest & buck during our hike. The one suggestion that I have here is to have more markers. The breakfast is the usual layout for a buffet style breakfast, the food is nice & fresh but the view you get to enjoy while eating makes it worthwhile.

There were a few groups dressed up for special ocassions like wedding, graduation, etc. Nice stay and location. We picked as it was one of the locations for the air-ventures balloon safari.

Reservations was great and kept us I formed of our booked and called to check our arrival time. Food was okay. The rooms were good, bit outdated. Room services was shocking, it took 2 hours to get our order

Beautiful and tranquil lodge, great for complete relaxation and adventure. The surroundings are breathtaking as all you see is nature and its beauty; well manicured gardens and well maintained property - I have never seen a place more clean. The staff are happy and warm - we were greeted by all the workers we met as we walked to our room which was a sharp contrast from the establishment we stayed at prior to coming to Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa. The rooms have a rustic feel yet have all the amenities. My highlight at Kloofzicht is the outdoor shower and the fireplace. The breakfast buffet has everything. It really is a great establishment.

The place is more beautiful than pictures, great staff, clean and a breath of fresh air. The views are amazing.

Great stay, good views and great service. Very comfortable stay after a long hike in the Muldersdrift area. The breakfast was a good spread. Dinner service was good and the quality of food was superb.
