The two best things I can say about this hotel are that it has a great central location and it has a really good sun terrace for bathing. My wife and I stayed for 10 nights. Now for the not so good bits. Breakfasts were awful and if you wanted a full English, it was extra (and expensive) . We were bed and breakfast clients. I would advise you to save money and book room only. No facilities in the room to make a tea or coffee, but you could buy them. You can't use the room safe unless you pay a daily fee for a code. Study the photos of the rooftop pool. You'll notice no one is in it on most. The reason? It's extremely cold. In fact, if I didn't know I'd swear they keep it chilled to save money on cleaning it by keeping guests out of it. Forget the nice photos of table tennis and pool table. They are just one step away from being put in a skip. I hope you are beginning to get the picture here. Maid service wasn't much better. We returned to our room one day to find she had opened the patio doors and left them open. It would have been simple for anyone to have climbed over from another room and help themselves to our valuables. On another day towels were removed and not replaced and toilet rolls were not replenished, causing us to try and find the maid to get them. On ALL 10 days of our stay there was building work being carried out at the next building from 8am till 5.30pm making it impossible to stay in the room with the doors open, let alone sit on the tiny patio. When we complained we were told there were no other rooms available. And finally. We had to vacate the room at 12 noon and were told our room was already booked so we couldn't have a late check out (our transfer wasn't until 7.50pm) but, they could rent us a room with no view and no balcony until we were picked up and it would cost us 60 euros for those 7hours. Kusadasi is a wonderful location, but I'm positive we will not be returning to the hotel darinci. All they seem to be interested in is your money.
