The most beautiful and very comfortable self catering cottage in the heart of the Karoo with wifi. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and just want to recharge, this is the place. So much to do in the area, will have to come back!

The Chardonnay cottage is nicely situated at the end of the road and at the start of the Die Plaat hiking route. A fantastic stay.

Beautiful lawns and fireplace facilities. Even WiFi at the campsite. Ablutions were very good and well serviced. The dam is great for young and old to enjoy.

Our stay at Oaksrest Vineyards Guest Farm was so enjoyable. The campsite was immaculate as were the ablutions and washing up facility. Phillip and Louisa and their team can be so proud of what they have created on their beautiful farm. A very special part of the Little Karoo. Thank you so much.

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. The unit is very well equipped with everything you need. I would recommend it strongly ( I would have loved to stay longer) The reception was friendly and helpful with all the necessary information

We had a fantastic stay at Oaks Rest. Crimson cottage was great fun and well equipped with everything you could need, including a gas cooker for use during load shedding. The location and views are awesome as it sits in a horseshoe of mountains. The dam/reservoir was great for swimming and relatively warm. The Die Platt hiking trail starts from behind one of the cottages and gives great views over the whole valley. The breakfast was brilliant and was served on the lawn outside the main house. An awesome place. We will return!

We loved sitting on the generous stoep admiring the view across the vineyards to Tierkop. The cottage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was especially good. There are pleasant walks across to the dam where you can swim.

What an amazing place! We only booked for one night but soon realised we should have stayed for longer! So we will definitely be back. Our hosts were fantastic. Phillip went out of his way to sort out a power fault for us. Thank you. Until next time.
