Capri Laguna on the Beach - A Boutique Hotel

First off, this hotel was beautiful, and we enjoyed an early check-in from their friendly staff and some beachside help with chairs and umbrellas on their private beach. We also enjoyed some 'community areas' overlooking the water and enjoying some sun and relaxation away from the sand but still near the water. My only complaint was that I feel a little misled by the pictures on the site. I booked a 'Deluxe king room with sea view' and I paid accordingly. The pictures included a balcony on the water. Upon checkin I was told I received a 'king room with partial sea view' and I was confused. I showed them my listing and they said they were fully booked and that this is what they had for me. The room had a window that faces the ocean but the room was set back and while yes you could see the ocean through a window, it was 60 feet away over a busy deck and clearly not what I had imagined when I thought I was going to get to see the waves from my room. The room was lovely and I found that most of my time was spent on the community deck/beach anyways. Had a great time and will definitely visit this hotel again.

Capri Laguna is a cute hotel about a mile or so outside of the village. Our first room had an ocean view, but we had problems with the shower not draining. After my husband took a shower the water just sat there for about 30 minutes. It seemed to eventually drain very slowly and so I was nervous about showering after him. We spoke to the guild at the front desk when we had breakfast, and then asked how long it would be (so I could shower) and they upgraded us to a new room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Everyone we encountered was helpful and made the stay great. The decks overlooking the water are great. The rooms are small but unique. I would stay here again.

I booked the Beachfront King Room with a Fireplace for my engagement. The staff, especially the Manager Nick were very kind and went out of their way to make the day go as smoothly as possible. Any question/concerns that I had were quickly answered/resolved. They were happy to help and as far as hospitality goes they made me feel at home and is the best experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. They also sent flowers with a nice letter for us to celebrate our engagement which was so kind of them. The view was amazing and we loved our stay at Capri Laguna.

Pros: Next to the beach with a nice deck overlooking the ocean. Enough lighting at night. Walkable neighborhood with many boutiques and dining options. Cons: The street was noisy specially at nights, breakfast was very limited, the shower was cold for the first few minutes with no fan. The housekeepers used to come very early in the morning with no “Do not disturb” sign to hang on the door. Too many stairs with no elevators.

The best feature is to be right on the ocean! listening to the waves is amazing! Nice breakfast. Staff is very pleasant. Clean and comfortable room. it's a classic hotel with quirky features but being right on the ocean is worth it.

Great staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Free trolley stop right outside hotel. Great views of the ocean.

The property was very nice. Staff was exceptional especially Hayley. Rooms were clean and lots of towels. Definitely stay there again.

Stayed two nights and switched to pacific edge down the *****. Capri is a very quaint and intimate setting. I prefer one where there is more life going on personally. the staff were friendly. The cons were the steps to the beach aren't a straight shot. you have to walk across a bunch of rocks to get to a wider section of the beach. Rooms need a bigger TV. no room service here. it's okay, but not for the price point at all. I paid double for what I paid at Pacific Edge and got a better view and larger room w/ room service
