Himmel Landshut Hotel-Restaurant-Cafe

Big, clean room with accessible bathroom but no fridge or any tea-making facilities. Breakfast was included daily, and it's a great location within a flat easy walk to Landshut centre (and a lift!). The only disadvantage is the corridor to the upper rooms is a bit drab, but the friendly welcome & service makes up for that.

Small Hotel but quaint. Close to downtown Landshut. Not modern, but rooms are comfortable, clean and nice. What makes the stay is the employees. They were great and even had breakfast to go for me... Delicious!! They have a great little bakery that makes wondelful treats. Would book again anytime.

I loved staying at Hotel Himmel. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating. Because I was a guest, they checked my vaccination status only once and then remembered me every time I ate there and never asked me a second time for my paperwork. The food was amazing. The room was huge despite the fact that I only had a “small” one. I also remembered that my great-grandma used to live in the building before it became a Hotel. She lived there about 40 years ago. I have stayed here before and loved it the first time - however the first time I had heat. The second time, the heat was broken in the room near the bed. I spent a cold night the first night wearing a jacket to bed (you can't reach anyone after hours here so just ****** it up) for the night. In the morning I asked to be moved or the heat to be fixed. They did not move me or fix the heat, but dropped off a heater that did not work. They sent someone up to check out the heater which did not work, they could not get it to work either and just turned on the heat on the far side of the room - so still a cold room, they then gave me the remote to the broken heater as if that could make it work - bizarre. I asked for a discount cause the heat did not work properly - no response.

Unterkunft, Service etc. gut. Leider sind sämtliche Parkplätze näherer Umgebung kostenpflichtig.

Sehr zentral gelegen, saubere und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattete Zimmer. Aber obwohl morgens der winzige Gastraum nicht einmal halb besetzt war, musste ich mehr als eine halbe Stunde warten und energisch auf mich aufmerksam machen, bis mir endlich das Frühstück serviert wurde, welches ich dann wegen eines anschließenden Termins in aller Eile runterschlingen musste. Für Geschäftsreisende deshalb absolut ungeeignet.

De kamer was netjes. Goed schoon, prima douche en ruim zat voor 1 persoon. Het ontbrak helaas aan een koelkast. Had gevraagd of het e.a. uit mijn koelbox wellicht in de koelkast van het restaurant bewaard kon worden. Dat was mogelijk, echter zou er pas iemand tegen 8u zijn (en ik wilde rond half 8 vertrekken) jammer. Toen ik de volgende ochtend om 7:15 de auto aan het inladen was, liepen de staff toch al rond. Apart. De kamer (#11) was verder donker en het bed prima. Echter was het wel erg gehorig, iemand die luid aan het geeuwen was, leek wel naast mij te liggen. En ook was er buiten een generator die de hele nacht aan stond. Erg storend, heeft niet voor een gedegen nachtrust gezorgd. Met slechts 1 raam was het ook behoorlijk warm, een ventilator of airco ontbrak helaas. Daar ik geen gebruik kon maken van het ontbijt (werd pas vanaf 8u geserveerd) en ik vroeger moest vertrekken, kreeg ik een lunchpakket mee. Top! Het hotel ligt verder erg centraal, prima om de stad te verkennen. Parkeren kan niet voor de deur, (slechts max 2 uur). Even verderop is een grotere parkeerplaats waar je vrij voordelig kunt pakeren. Betaling kan echter alleen cash of via een app. Niet met een pin-pas of credicard.
