Stayed here for 3 nights while hiking in the area. Everything was spectacular! Rooms were super cozy and thoughtfully designed. The food (both the breakfast and dinner) was some of the best we ate in Spain. The service was warm and friendly. Lanuza is a very cute little hamlet and the perfect base for several spectacular hikes. Looking forward to planning our next trip!

A very special place. We were warmly received by Miriam and Miguel. The hotel is a work of art as is the food. Clean, quiet, and an incredible view. Our bed was extremely comfortable. Have an apero of local vermouth,relax, and do not miss dinner!

Hotel La Casueña is the perfect balance of restorative and inspiring hospitality offered by the owners Miguel and Marian. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 5 nights and days in their uniquely characteristically boutique hotel; only 7 rooms. The views onto the Lanuza reservoir and Peña Formatata excited our souls and hearts every morning and evening. Both Miguel and Marian were delightful hosts and ever accommodating in their recommendations for place to explore & hike, local community points of interest, and other dining options in nearby towns such as Sallent de Gallego and Tramacastilla de Tena. The hotel offers a lovely spread for breakfast that is so delicious and fresh; Miguel is such a kind man in his service and we appreciated that. Marian is preparing the dishes that are made with only the freshest ingredients for the local areas. We dined there a number of times and the selections were bountiful and very tasty. The room was well equipped with all the amenities one would need and the bed was perfect. The view from the room was awesome. We highly recommend this special place.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is stunning, the hotel is beautifully decorated, the hosts are passionate and kind and the food is absolutely amazing. This was a quirky, family run hotel with bedrooms all named after Spanish writers and beautifully decorated. Marianne and Miguel could not have made us feel more welcome. The food both at dinner and at breakfast was delicious ( the pork at dinner was the best we have ever eaten) . A hidden gem in a small Pyrenees village.

We stayed at La Casuena for 3 nights, this was our 3rd visit. As ever Marriane and Miguel were perfect hosts, attentive and friendly but never intrusive. Marriannes cooking is wonderful so we ate in every evening. breakfast is lovely with a great selection of meats and cheeses plus homemade breads and cakes. We took the Panticosa (train) to ibon de Sabocos and walked the route back. It’s a beautiful walk well worth it.

We had a fantastic stay at La Casuena! Marian and her husband were the loveliest of hosts, the rooms are wonderful and spacious and the service is impeccable. We loved their breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, fresh juice etc) and the dinner service was great. I am pregnant and have some dietary requirements as a result, but that was no problem and Marian happily took that I to account. The property is just lakeside with parking in front of the hotel, and they have a terrace with a beautiful view to the impressive nature around Lanuza. There are plenty of hiking routes to choose from, the neighbouring villages are equally picturesque and after a long day out you can take a refreshing dip in the lake. We had a great stay and can warmly recommend La Casuena.

Muy atractivo el entorno donde se encuentra este establecimiento. En primera linea del embalse que lleva el nombre del pueblo con vistas a pico Foratata, Formigal, etc. Nos sentimos muy bien acogidos por Marian y Miguel que ofrecen una propuesta gastronómica para alojados muy atractiva, platos muy sabrosos y un servicio a la altura. El desayuno te da para recargar mucho la "batería", muy completo. La habitación con una cama cómoda. Admiten mascotas.

La atención de Marian y Miguel , lo cuidado de las instalaciones y la limpio que está todo . Es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos y ya se queda como nuestro hotel cada vez que viajemos a la zona . El desayuno abundante y el café de los mejores que he probado . Recomendable 100% qued**** a cenar . Marian es una cocinera de 10
