Hotel Fariones

15 minutes from airport but no noise from landing/take off planes. Beautiful hotel right on beach with extensive grounds and 3+ pools. Food delicious. The staff are everyone smiling and helpful Especially Stephanie in reception; Mario who takes the bags and shows to room imparting great information; in dining room Alexandra & Marina. Highly recommend this hotel.

From the minute we walked into the reception area (which is an absolute masterclass in interior design), we knew we were in for a treat. What an amazing hotel this is. The landscaped gardens are beautiful , overlooking the sea and immaculately maintained. All of the staff, without exception, were welcoming and friendly and an asset to the hotel. There are several different areas to relax in and my gosh, this place is so chilled out and peaceful! Breakfast was great, every option you can think of and every taste catered for. Rooms are spacious, light and airy, with great views of the gardens and sea. We only ate at the hotel once on an evening, preferring to eat at the many great restaurants in the area. We chose the Asian restaurant at the hotel, which as is the rest of the hotel, beautifully decorated. The Taster Menu was very pretty to look at but unfortunately, wasn't for us. Ever so slightly pretentious and at €230 (including wine), not really worth the money. That's only our opinion though and I'm sure lots of people will disagree with us. 🙂 Staff were lovely though. We had an amazing week here and after only being home for a day, have booked again for next year. Ten nights next time though , as a week just wasn't enough. Really beautiful hotel on the beach of Puerto del carmen, a proper 5 star experience, nothing was too much trouble. A quiet week away for myself and adult daughter we had breakfast included which was varied and excellent. The turn down service in the evening was nice and we looked forward to our Lindor chocolate on our pillow!! Hopefully be back soon

One of my best hotel stays ever! I travel a lot and this hotel was one of my top 3 5* hotels. Incredible clean, the staff was so amazingly gentle and polite and the rooms as well as the facilities incredible. I strongly recommend staying there especially if you are doing the Ironman Lanzarote. What I would recommend however is invest in the spa facilities a little bit more!😁

Another wonderful trip to Hotel Fariones and as per our previous visits this hotel stands apart from anything else that we have experienced in our holiday travels over the past year. From the wonderful and exquisite reception area to the friendly, professional and friendly check in, the hotel never fails to provide top quality service and standards. Our loft suite had all of the usual refinements with wine and fresh flowers delivered to our room shortly after arrival, and upon quickly settling in it is clear that this hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility - away from the madness of modern life. Just two small critiques at this point however - just to assure everyone reading this review that I'm not providing completely sycophantic feedback - are as follows; The double size balconies outside of the loft suites really do justify loungers so that the outside atmosphere of the fabulous pool area and gardens can be enjoyed horizontally and since our last visit the al a carte breakfast room option has been replaced by an al a carte room service which - although we tried it and it was extremely lovely - wasn't quite as satisfying as walking down to the breakfast room through the lovely gardens each morning . Having said that, the room service during breakfast was phenomenal and the food very good. Where this hotel reigns supreme over most other hotels in Europe and the Canaries - where style often trumps substance - is that despite being an amazing place to stay with wonderful decor and ambience, it still puts its guests at the heart of the experience - with all staff obviously being trained to the highest standards but also seemingly very happy in their work. We dined three time in the Erizo restaurant during the evening as they have a fabulous vegan menu - and found ample vegan options in the mornings within the buffet breakfast. Breakfast staff were all friendly and very efficient and as soon as we sat at our tables, tea, coffee and orange juice were delivered immediately. As stipulated earlier, all staff were tirelessly efficient and friendly but special mention must go to three individuals in particular who made our stay ultra enjoyable. In Guest Relations Leidy was always on hand to ensure that we were happy with everything and made sure that the vegan menus and options were ready and waiting upon our evening meals at Erizo. In the buffet restaurant in the mornings - and also in the evening at Erizo - Widad was a breath of fresh air - always smiling, always happy - and also extremely efficient in her job. Happy staff mean happy guests and we very much look forwards to seeing her lovely smiling face upon our next visit. Widad is an absolute asset and credit to the Fariones and the high quality staff that the hotel employs. We have travelled a lot but this hotel is really outstanding for a holiday to relax in an exceptionnel environment. Very comfortable room (we had a private jacuzzi), very friendly and efficient staff ( after one day they remember your favorites) and breakfast buffet with a great choice. Don’t miss the Japanese Restaurant1 Kaori which deserves at least one star. We look forward to our next holidays at the hotel Fariones.

Hotel excellent in every way. My suitcase went awol on outward leg and I got great help from Manuel on Reception who went out of his way to get me information on my missing case which turned up later that evening. Thank you Manuel. Rest of trip relaxing and great to see old friends from ‘Old Fariones’ in the dining room especially. Enjoyed our holiday immensely and hope to return later in the year.

We had an amazing 4 night family stay at the Hotel Fariones in May 2024. The hotel is really stylish and kept in immaculate condition. What really stood out was the staff, incredibly helpful and we genuinely felt they all enjoyed working at the hotel. Really comfortable rooms and beds and the excellent sports facilities just over the road. We will definitely return.

This is now our 4th stay at Hotel Fariones and have now booked again for the forthcoming Christmas. My previous reviews say it all regarding the elegance and style of the hotel. We left with a tear in our eyes as we are made to feel so welcome from the first minute of our stay to the last. Roll on Christmas.
