Don't be fooled!
"Sea view" apartment is a stretch! you can barely see the sea. The main balcony view is actually a huge building site, which is noisy and dusty. They are still building the nextdoor condominium tower.
The private beach which was listed is not available to condo guests without a high fee (1800 pesos). It's part of an adjacent resort.
You need to walk 10 minutes to get out of the high-walled complex...so basically you are stuck in the grip of the resort next door. The only alternative is to pay taxis out (100 peso booking fee from same resort or from the condo).
The nice swimming pool which was the attractive main picture on the listing was also not available to condo guests, for the same reasons. Misleading and dishonest advertising by the host.
There is a serious and consistent smell of sewage from the bathroom drain, which the host had clearly tried to cover up with a toilet brush, which wasn't effective at all.
The listing describes the flat as if there are two beds, but actually, one bed is a pull-out mattress, from under the other bed. This is not a sofa bed, and is actually quite uncomfortable.
The host has serious issues communicating in English. Usually, in the Philippines, I have found the standard of English is super high. However, this host is clearly not local, but presumably from Europe. They were unhelpful, arrogant and unapologetic about the serious issues with the property.
