The appearance and location was lovely. Inside we had a lovely lunch and there is a really nice swimming pool with great pool beds and surrounds. The staff were efficient but not over friendly. The interior was full of arty stuff which just made it look cluttered and old fashioned. The room was tired and many bits like sockets and fridge didn’t work. So yes I would return but feel like rooms needed a bit of modernising.

Grand reception area with interesting art and furniture. Room was spacious and clean but completely dark when we arrived as the shutters were down. They were in a state of disrepair and we were wary of opening as mortar fell off the wall as we raised them. Bathroom quite dated with no hot water. Tepid shower after a day's cycling not what we needed! The toilet flush was also malfunctioning and the flush panel fell off the wall. The hairdryer was very old (attached to wall) and the hose kept coming off. Saving grace were the staff in the restaurant and a fantastic breakfast with delicious fresh cakes and homemade conserves. Decent coffee from a self service machine too. Pool terrace area looked lovely but unfortunately the weather was awful, so we couldn't enjoy it.

Excellent hotel, with beautiful pool area and view, friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms, right in the heart of SMDL with everything on your doorstep-we enjoyed it so much we’re definitely returning.

Great place, positioned in a quiet envirorment but close to seaside and other attractions. The breakfast is very nice and you could eat on the terrace. Is the beach too busy? There is a swimming pool. Want to eat here? It will be a great experience too!

This must have been a lovely hotel at some point, architecturally the reception, dining area, terrace etc are spacious with a real 1960s feel and are still very pleasant spaces to hang out. Breakfast was very good. There are hand made clothes and bags for sale at over 200 euros a piece, another indication of what the hotel aspires to be. The rooms are another matter. We entered ours and the metal shutters were all closed (very welcoming!) as we lifted these, a lot of loose concrete fell from the casings. The cistern cover also fell off in the bathroom as did the hose from the hairdryer. There was no hot water during our 24 he stay and only a trickle of cold water from the sink tap. Some things haven’t been updated since the 60s like the hairdryer, others like the newly upholstered head bed update the room slightly. Overall many of the updates like the fire doors and laminate hall floorings look as though they have been done on the cheap. Rooms are spacious and beds comfy.

Difficult to justify 4* would be great if advertised as 3*. A bit run down, Many deficiencies in room, including few electric outlets, no shelves, hooks or working drawers to store clothes, mediocre shower. On plus side good pool, excellent location for exploring Leuca and generally good service. Can’t give it 5* but if you are coming to Leuca def worth checking out

This hotel is not the most modern or beautiful but the pool and food are very good and the staff are fantastic. During our short stay, nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly and went beyond normal levels of service. We really appreciated it!
