Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities.
Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it!
Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.

A few days before Christmas, I stayed here with my husband for two nights. The environment is first-rate, and the service is generally worse than Southeast Asia and slightly worse than the equivalent hotels in African countries. When I left the house in the morning, a cleaning sign was hung up. I returned to the house more than three in the afternoon and did n’t clean it. I did n’t clean it until I went back at night. Breakfast was okay, the British and American breakfasts were similar. It was ok, but there was no freshly squeezed juice, and the beverage felt like concentrated juice and water. Turned up turn-down service at night, and a small snack was good. The environment is particularly good. There are monkeys in the yard. They are not as fierce as those in China. They are not strong and do not actively attack people. The perimeter of the hotel is the safari park. After eating Chinese food with my husband for the first night, I went back to the hotel and saw a wild boar about 30 meters away from the hotel entrance. The big window facing the river in the room facing the river is very quiet. It is very comfortable to open the window in the morning and watch the river view lying on the bed. The quilt is a duvet, but the sheet cover is not soft and comfortable enough, which may be a common problem in African countries. Overall it is worth living.

We spent a week at Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya with high expectations that weren't fully met. While the property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, the service fell significantly short of five-star standards. The positives: The breakfast buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of tasty options. The hotel grounds are attractive and well-kept. Some staff members stood out positively - particularly Natasha in the main restaurant, Mildred from the cruise team, and Samuel, the guest relations manager, who made genuine efforts to improve our experience in the final days of our stay. However, the service issues were persistent and frustrating. Basic requests often resulted in lengthy waits - 20 minutes for coffee, 40 minutes for bills. Essential items like mosquito spray (crucial given the location) were not readily available. As a Radisson Rewards VIP member, we were disappointed that our benefits couldn't be honored, apparently due to a concurrent SADC Parliamentary Conference. The dining options for lunch and dinner were surprisingly limited for a hotel of this caliber. While Samuel kindly offered a complimentary Zambezi cruise as compensation for the service issues, it didn't fully make up for a week of inconsistent service. For the premium pricing, the value for money simply isn't there. While the property has potential, it needs significant improvement in service delivery, especially in handling large events while maintaining standard service levels for other guests. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel as a five-star option in the Victoria Falls area.

What an amazing stay, you are greeted with traditional drumming and singing which was very welcoming. The hotel is very colonial and if that’s what you enjoy you will love the royal Livingstone. We were greeted by a lovely lady from Botswana who explained everything to us, she was very friendly and professional, she also gave us a refreshing traditional Zambian hibiscus drink. The grounds are breathtaking with direct views of the great Zambezi river as it is right on the banks of it, you can see the Mosi Oa Tunya in action from the hotel as the smoke looms around and over the falls on a clear day, beautiful animals roam freely around the grounds which was just a wonderful sight to witness. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and huge balcony overlooking the grounds and the Zambezi. For our first night we opted to eat at Mukuni Boma which is a restaurant serving more traditional dishes such as nshima, rice, impwa, chikanda, visashe, kapenta, Vinkubala, fried fish, along with various stews and grilled meats, there was a great selection for desserts too, this restaurant was the highlight of my time at the Royal Livingstone. There was a live showcase of traditional Zambian dancing and singing from a few different tribes in Zambia. This was a magical night. We ate at Zubu restaurant and I was not impressed with the food, the service was amazing but the food was a huge let down it was very tasteless in my opinion, but if you like bland and unseasoned food you will enjoy dining there. We also had cocktails at the bar a few times and I thought it was only right to try the Mosi Oa Tunya cocktail and it was devine, it was perfectly mixed each time. That was my favourite cocktail there but there were many that were just as good. Most of the staff members were excellent and I wish I could remember the young lady hostess we encountered during breakfast service that was actually very rude to us for what ever reason, it’s not a good look for the hotel because that one employee can spoil how everyone sees the rest of the staff and most of the other staff were absolutely lovely, just that one bad seed. Overall a good experience and I would encourage people to go even for one night.

Wonderful hotel, right near the Victoria Falls. There are animals like Zebra, Giraffe and Impalas roaming the grounds, grazing on the grass and trees. The room was always clean and well kept. The food however lacked variety since there was only 1 restaurant open at night with a la carte menu. The staff are also missing some hospitality training. I booked half-board and the confirmation said two meals included, but the staff took that literally and charged me for some dinner and not others, it was a bit confusing but in the end I paid at checkout since the amount was not much.

Very good value for money, a bar with a meal, and a kitchen where you can cook. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, there are many good restaurants within ten minutes, the post office is nearby, it is very convenient to send postcards, there are also several nearby that want to change local currency, you can compare. Music is played at night, but the volume and time are controlled. If you need a break for long trips, this hostel is a good choice.

Stay at Fairmount hotel was like staying at home, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The experience was overall excellent - Euphrasia called to check about the airport pick up, Dawney ensured that there was internet by providing me with a mobile router. Ms. Anita and Ms. Subhasini the GM of the hotel ensured a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay was the Indian food that i took every day - Kadai Chicken and Mutton Rogah Josh with Garlic naan and Tandoori roti were excellently prepared by well trained chef. Thank you everyone for making my stay very comfortable and memorable.

Firstly a big mistake was not having US dollars pound sterling or Euros or Rand . You will need these and probably US dollars are the best. We had booked this hotel so we could visit the Vic Falls. Being newbies we did not understand that but the Waterfalls that time of year were in Zimbabwe so we got a shuttle courtesy of Cliff to Zimbabwe and went through border controls which is easy and not so far although extortionate in cost. Where does that money go?? In any case we were happy to stay in Zambia as I'm sure their hospitality would outshine Zimbabwe. The falls were spectacular. Caroline and in particular Kennedy were very helpful and knowledgeable. For the ignorance like us, the first language in Zambia is English. So we showed our ignorance by complimenting them on their good English LOL. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was of good quality. You will get good mango courtesy of the giant mango tree in situ.
We were here almost an entire week. Definitely your moneys worth. Gloria and her staff are extremely caring and will go out of their way to help in any way they can. Gloria helped us with recommending various activities, she sat even down with us to make calls to the right people and even helped negotiating the price. She has a lot of experience and a large contact network that helped greatly. One of the staff went to the market to get some clothes and shoes stitches up cheap. It’s a 15 minute walk from the bus and from the city-center, so a good location. Good breakfast, daily cleaned rooms, very nice pool, the list just goes on. Extremely friendly, humble, honest staff. I can recommend this place 100% :)
KK4349WZmichaelmMyself and my wife stayed here for 3 days/2nights The manager was very accessible and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Place is very clean with good temperature water though pressure isn't very high. Location is somewhat off-road but overall quite close to town and the falls. Breakfast is provided and we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. We didn't make use of the pool, and i don't think at that point it was well maintained. We travelled there November/December 2020 at which time, tourism was heavily down due to COVID. Unfortunately, if you need wifi, this was a challenge for us at the time we were there. I would recommend statying here as it is a quite, peaceful and safe place. Bed is comfy and nice though facilities are generally average. There is AC that works. Ours was making a lot of noise though so we tried not to have it on all night but used to keep room very cool then go to bed. For the price you pay, this is a good place to stay though our budget, travelling from UK, may be different to locals.
BBINVery nice lodge. In the Mosotonia National Park by the river, there are occasional elephants looking for food in the evening. There are many monkeys in the courtyard, which is a good place to get close to nature.
KKANGThe service was good, the staff were friendly and the kitchen allowed me to boil ramen. The facilities inside were clean. Free breakfast was also good. It was nice to have a SPAR at a 7 minute walk. If you have a big baggage, there is a street to go to the bus terminal.
