Diamant Hotel & Aparthotel

We travelled as a multi-generational family of five, so had one of the new hotel suites, and one apartment in the slightly older block. The hotel is in a little known (certainly for UK guests) northeast corner of the island - a little over an hour from Palma airport (c. 130 euros in a minibus taxi). There are supermarkets and bars / cafes within a couple of minutes walk. There nearest, largest, and ideally nicest, beach is around 10 minutes walk away along the coastal path. There is also a small beach near to the lighthouse - a nice 40 minute walk or so away. Both the hotel and apartment block have reasonably sized pools, but the signage suggest the hotel one is adult only (albeit this wasn't enforced during our end of season stay. There is a large indoor pool between the blocks, albeit it also has rules around times children can use etc. There is a table tennis table, mini golf and a beach volleyball court, and all were free to use during our stay. The hotel suite was stunning - with a big balcony, separate living room, free standing inside bath and outside jacuzzi bath. The apartment was obviously older, but still clean and tidy, with a mini kitchen (2 electric rings), microwave and under worktop fridge. Both rooms claimed to have some UK TV channels, but this was somewhat random and "hit and miss" - the hotel room only had CNN, the apartment living room had ITVBE and ITV4 (but not CNN), and the apartment bedroom had 18 channels - none of which were in English. BBC was listed as available but had "no signal". Raising this as a query didn't elicit any further channels. That said, reception were helpful, particularly the male who spoke very good English (and explained he resort is generally German speaking). We were half board with food taken in the hotel main restaurant. All meals were buffet, with some fresh cooking of steaks etc at dinner and eggs etc. at breakfast. Generally what you would expect - a choice of meat, fish, vegetarian, with buffet sides, and puddings in pots or cake by the slice and large tubs f ice cream to take scoops from. Drinks were also fairly standard The weather was exceptionally good for us given it was an October half term break - 27 degrees and clear blue skies for all four days. As I say, this was exceptionally good as we have previously had wet and grey days in October in Majorca.

I appreciate rich breakfasts, comfortable beds, a shady garden with two swimming pools (+1 only for adults) and a small playground. The hotel is quiet. There are enough of parking spaces in the vicinity.

We had a lovely stay at Diamant aparthotel. We stayed in an apartment overlooking the pool. The apartment was well kept and clean. The kitchenette has got a hob, cutlery, dishes, pans, frying pan, microwave, sink, coffee machine, cups and glasses. The mattresses were nice and soft. The baby cot was ok too. The fitted wardrobe has lots of space to stuff all of your clothes. The sofas are ok too, there is a TV in the living room and another one in the bedroom. The shower is spacious. The staff is extremely nice they go far beyond to help you in everything you need. The food is nice, the restaurant is clean, they would always clean baby’s high chair before putting baby on it. It has one pool for babies and children, and another three pools one of them only for adults. Majority of guests are German, very polite. The hotel is in a nice quiet area, but still not far from restaurants and shops. Also you can walk to the beach Cala Agulla. It’s 15 minutes away by car from Cala Mesquida and 30 minutes from Playa del Muro. Overall we had a good stay, apart from a few nights where some of the guests were noisy after midnight in the pool area and also in the other apartments’ balconies. Even so we loved our stay, and we’ll return :)

We had several times, a MARVELOUS stay, in this brandnew renovated Hotel !! It deserves a 9,5 !! It offers A TRENDY atmosphere. MARVELOUS rooms. An EXCELLENT pool, between pine-trees. VERY NICE TERRACES to ENJOY the EXCELLENT food & drinks. An EXCITED SPA, Everything for A GOOD PRICE !! I have been in many Hotels in my life. This Hotel is a PEARL in Mallorca. You just feel AT HOME. The STAFF is VERY KIND and HELPFULL. Diamant Hotel is THE PLACE TO BE !!

The hotel is beautifull with well maintained gardens. The service is great. Four pools (one indoor) and Spa are available. Friendly staff and the cleaning is unpecable. Rooms are modern and large with a nice glass balcony. The location is perfect, near Cala Agulla beach.

Fantastic hotel! Very nice Roomster. Excellent Food. Welcoming personnell. Sometimes a bit struggling with english but very friendly and supportive. The only thing that could be improved is the refill of the consumables. We needed to cotta shsmpoo and soap.

The vacation was amazing. The room was neat and clean, well designed with Mediterranean colours. The breakfast is rich with fresh fruits, pancakes and the usual continental ingredients. The hotel's spa areas are in incredible good condition. Highly recommended for holidays on Mallorca. Moreover, excursions to Porto Cristo and Arta are easily possible.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Diamant. The hotel had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our holiday. The service of the staff was very attentive at all times; Spacious and clean rooms; Free service to do some activities in the hotel such as mini golf and table tennis; The buffet was quite good, there was a lot of variety to choose from; There is enough place to park around; Excellent location, five minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate location. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s facilities, staff and location are excellent.

We stayed for four nights in an apartment at the hotel. It was spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly. The room was modern and comfortable with a large terrace. Close to the town and beaches. Breakfast was included and had a wide choice buffet.
