Horrendous stay. It was only 2 nights, but on the first night they told us they had no rooms, and our booking should never have been accepted in the first place. it took half an hour of us waiting till they changed their minds and suddenly there was a room.
On the second night, we were woken multiple times by a crazy neighbour who had taken to slamming a door about 30 times in the space of two minutes, over and over again. Instantly complained on trip.com and had video evidence of this.
we tried to speak to the manager at checkout, but no managers were available to speak to us. when we continued the complaint on trip.com, the hotel said they couldn’t give us any compensation because we hadn’t complained at checkout!
in the end we got £10 of trip coins for a horrible £400 stay. If you have a nice experience, the hotel is great. but if you have problems, you’ll get 0 help.
