Travelodge London Central Southwark

The worst business hotel experience ever!! No mini fridge, dirty room, dirty towels, no toothbrush and toothpaste, need to get the hair dryer by yourself at the reception desk, only 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi every 24 hours… etc In the bathroom, the shower curtain is too short, and the shower area is too shallow, so the water is everywhere every time you take shower, absolutely unpleasant. Definitely not recommended and won’t stay in this hotel in the future.

beds and toilet are bad, there is no amenities.

Quieter part of town, Close to Thames and Globe Theatre, Over looking city scape and rail lines. small amount of train noise but not disturbing. many places to eat nearby also mini supermarket close. Great stay

The room spelt bad and mouldy. The AC not very efficient. The bathroom needs attention, no knobs on the shower. Excellent breakfast and staff

This Travelodge is basic, with comfortable beds and good sound proofing. Really needs windows that open as rooms can’t be aired so stuffy and smelly.

A huge thank you to Bhanu the kind receptionist who went above and beyond when I mentioned to him that I struggle with claustrophobia! He worked with his colleague Yicong, looking through every room to help me find a suitable one that was unoccupied and had window opening to help with my claustrophobia. Even when I felt that maybe I was troubling him with my request and said to him that if it was an issue we can leave it, he again insisted on finding a good room for me to ensure I was comfortable during my stay. Thank you both for going above and beyond to make my stay in London so much more comfortable! Your kindness and sincerity are not unnoticed and I hope and pray you are treated with the same kindness in life. Thank you!

I came to book a room few days now I’ve been here from 9 days and I stayed in 621 this guy was so helpful from booking a room to checking on everything with my stay how was it going. Thank you for all your patience and help all this time will see you again.

Disabled room (I'm not, so everything was low) dirty cups, marks on the walls, no toilet roll and very little sleep due to room being located near 4 different train tracks and the windows weren't soundproofed sufficiently. The plus points were that the bed was comfy and the staff were friendly but overall I was really disappointed. I usually choose Premier Inn and find them to be relatively consistent. It's the first time I've used Travelodge in years and after this experience I will try and avoid unfortunately.
