The County

Κλείσαμε ένα δωμάτιο για μια διανυκτέρευση για να βοηθήσουμε στο ταξίδι. Το μόνο θετικό που μπορώ να πω είναι ότι η τοποθεσία του έκανε πολύ εύκολη την εύρεση ενός πολύ καλύτερου ξενοδοχείου κοντά. Κατά την άφιξη μας δόθηκε ένα κλειδί σε ένα στενό δωμάτιο με ένα μονό κρεβάτι (κάναμε κράτηση για ένα διπλό). Προς τιμή τους, μας παρείχαν το δωμάτιο που ζητήσαμε μετά από σύντομη αναμονή. Το δωμάτιο μύριζε τσιγάρα, το παράθυρο δεν έκλεινε τελείως, τα σεντόνια ήταν βρώμικα. Τα κοινόχρηστα μπάνια καθαρίζονται μία φορά κάθε πρωί, και από την κατάσταση όλων των άλλων δεν φαντάζομαι ότι καθαρίζονται ιδιαίτερα καλά. Αν και αυτό το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ φθηνό και σε καλή τοποθεσία, δεν θα έμενα εκεί δωρεάν. Φύγαμε από το δωμάτιο και μείναμε σε άλλο ξενοδοχείο κοντά.

I have stayed at the County Hotel many times, but due to the hotel not providing en suite facilities, I only stayed one or two nights. However I won't be staying at the hotel anymore, I have decided that I now want to stay in a hotel, that provides en suite facilities Furthermore the hotel does not provide breakfasts and evening meals, I was told that they stopped cooking food, during the covid outbreak and they have decided not provide food anymore. This is another reason why I won't stay at the hotel anymore. I have to say that the 'checkin' and 'checkout' staff are very friendly and helpful. I will always recommend the County Hotel, to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel, is only staying for one or two nights and is happy to stay there, once I've told them that the hotel, no longer provides food. Cheap hotel but do a job in city centre. I am staying there quite often. Sink in the room is very handy for face and teeth washing . Very good location next to Euston station.

Good price, near to central and transports. For all age. Friendly staff

Best location but the hotel was cold and noisy

Actually went in Nov 2022 shortly before it closed for a full refurbishment. It was always very basic and over last few years became poorly maintained but it was a cheap option and central to Euston or Kings Cross. Be interested to see when its opened again and in what guise or price structure.

Very clean room and bathroom, polite and helpful staff . The decor is spot on, very well maintained hotel. Expensive but worth it. Located in Central London, ideal location. Room with views on Westminster or the Thames are the best.

In general, the hotel locay is good, near to Euston tube station. After checking in the hotel, the bill was only £235 and I paid Agoda £120 more for my booking. Please be aware when you do booking with Agoda.

Absolutely a shameful excuse for a hotel. When we arrived at 3.30am after 12 hours of travelling, we were met by the manager, who to our surprise said our booking was cancelled due arriving after 2.30am. He said the issue was due to problems with ***********, which automatically cancelled our booking. This was however a lie to cover up the fact that they overbooked their own hotel, which i later found out, after a longer interrogation with the manager. They didn’t even care to book us another hotel and we were left stranded in London at 4am, with only a lead to the closest hotel. Can’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
