Alexandra Hotel

Location is so excellent that it is close to Paddington and walking distance to Hyde park. Room size is limited to put one 28” baggage case. Clean n quiet. Simple breakfast. Good value hotel in this location

The hotel is close to Paddington station which made it easy to get around London. The street it's located on has lots of small restaurants and shops which was very convenient. It's also next to a small park and 5 minutes walk away from Hyde Park. It's clean and we got new towels and toilet paper every day. The room was very small and didn't have AC or a fridge. The hotel also didn't have a lift so we had to carry baggage up 3 floors. No one does it for you and help wasn't offered. The breakfast was typical continental but pleasant enough to get the day started. This is a great place for a short stay and location wise.

Every thing was spot on although I prefer full English breakfast and it was just continental which was the only down side for me in my opinion

In general the room was clean. The breakfast was good even though I stayed there for 7 nights, still found it acceptable. The staircase was a bit narrow, if you have big and heavy luggage, think twice. Bath water sometimes hot but in many cases was warm. No fringe and AC, in winter time it's okay. It's a value for money one.

Good hotel in paddington, the rooms are very neat and clean.

The location is very convenient. It js close to the Paddington station and the Hyde Park. However, the room is very small and is a bit noisy at night.

El hotel es sencillo y está bien ubicado. Solo que el primer día tuvimos que poner una toalla debajo de la puerta porque entro una pequeña rata. Luego vimos que las habitaciones contiguas hicieron lo mismo. Deja mucho que desear la limpieza.

The room was super small and can only contain one suitcase comfortably. We had two relatively large suitcases, so one of them had to go in between our twin beds, and there was barely space to keep it open to take things out. We had to make sure not to get up from the side of the beds as our suitcase was there the entire time. The worst thing about this hotel was the lift to our room was not working. The lift could only go up to the 3rd floor and we were on the 4th floor (highest floor), so we had to get out at the 3rd floor and walk down the corridor to get to the staircase. The design of the staircase was so stupid and we had to be very nimble (requires some gymnastics) in order to open the door at the top of the staircase to enter the 4th level. This is definitely not suitable for older folks who may not be nimble enough. The good thing was that daily breakfast was included, though the spread was limited and quality moderate, but I guess that's to be expected for the price you pay. Hardly any service you can expect but at least the staff isn't rude. I really don't want to come back to this hotel. WIll probably pay a bit more for something with better standards next time.

A nice hotel to stay for few days in a central and comfortable area to go everywhere. The room was a bit tiny and with 2 single beds instead of a double bed as requested.
