The Wellesley Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel, London

Great service. Wonderful location right next to Hyde Park Corner station. Room service breakfast was delicious and delivered quickly. Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was well appointed, with great water pressure. Loved that it’s a boutique hotel with attentive staff. I used the complimentary car to go to dinner at a nearby restaurant, lovely benefit.

Describing The Wellesley Knightsbridge as merely the best hotel experience would be an understatement of epic proportions. After years within the hospitality industry, I thought I had seen it all, but this stay redefined excellence in every imaginable way. The rooms were not just luxurious; they were an embodiment of elegance and comfort. Each detail was meticulously crafted to perfection, creating an ambiance of sheer indulgence that left me spellbound. However, it wasn't just the accommodations that made my stay extraordinary; it was the staff who truly elevated the experience. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality were unparalleled, making us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly departed. The Wellesley Knightsbridge will undoubtedly become my sanctuary anytime we are in London. And let's not forget the espresso martini in the lobby bar—an absolute must-try!

This Place is one of the kind from the moment I arrived in the lobby I felt that I’m on my own home I felt very comfortable straight away the natural ambiance best service which its very rare to experience specially in the busy area In London, the level of service is like is 6Star service and very personal, room is immaculate lovely classy also staff specially reception (Gabriela) her professionalism is outstanding including the butler, housekeepers making sure all needs are meet and they also have transportation ready waiting outside the hotel This place is very recommended TOP 1 hotel in London ,for business ,leisure, personal travel this is the perfect place to Stay🥰🥰🥰

As an ambassador elite member who travels the world the service was above and beyond, the entire team went out of their way to meet our needs. Checkin and check out was seamless and it was a pleasure to be with them. We will definitely be returning there should our travels bring us back to London.

Tried to get coffee or breakfast today. As we were not residents they said they could not do either. In this day and age, if you cannot offer non residents food or drink then why do you open the doors to non residents? Tell them to just go away at the door and not waste their time. We went to the Lanesborough next door....never to return to Wellesley.

I absolutely adore this place. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the service is nothing short of spectacular. The staff are exceedingly friendly and kind, and the overall environment feels incredibly safe. It truly feels like a home away from home. Without a doubt, this will always be my go-to hotel whenever I'm in London.

The Wellesley Knightsbidge in London has two faces; the genuinely friendly and helpful staff and the most inept and clumsy interior decorating ever encountered in a so-called five star (very expensive, £800 a night) luxury hotel. We were shown to our deluxe executive room # 505 which was so crammed with furnishings it was hard to even move around the bed. Shockingly, the bathroom's exterior wall was entirely clear glass that led to a tiny balcony! Thankfully there were drapes to allow bathroom privacy. We were shocked that, except for four small drawers in the nightstands there were no drawers to store things at all. The closet for hanging clothes was adequate, but still no drawers! We immediately said this was unacceptable, and after discussion with management, we accepted a "deal" on a small suite #501 for £200 (British Pounds) extra more per night. It had four adequate drawers and a tightly furnished living room which came with it. We should have merely moved to another hotel, but after weeks of travel in the fabulous UK, we were too tired. The king bed was quite comfortable although needlessly overloaded with bolsters, upholstered pillows (with no place to store them!), plus 4 nice regular pillows. But the area around the bed was only a bout 30 cm or about 12 inches. That meant at the foot of the bed only one person could access the closet or get by at a time. Had the hotel's interior designer not opted for very thick - about23 cm or 9 inch - deeply tufted head board, guests would have been a little less crammed. The room had a bit of a strange smell as maybe from a pet and the carpet and sofa were stained, not horribly but noticeably. The bathroom was nicely tiled with highly polished matched marble, so one had to be extra careful to avoid slipping. We found getting in and out of the bub too slippery - treacherous after one use. The bathroom amenities in pump dispensers barely emitted the products, but you could get enough out, if you were diligent. Unlike to many other reviewers who complain of the smoke, the all pervasive cigar smoke in the lobby and lower floors did not seep into our vents, but it is strange that the hotel has two cigar friendly lounges without emphasizing that on their website. The Wellesley Knightsbridge is proud of its name which is printed over and over on most everything, but you might want to stay elsewhere, perhaps one closer to variety of restaurants, pubs, etc.

Amazing service. The VIP treatment all the way. The duvet was like a marshmallow and provided us with a great night's sleep. Bartender and staff were so friendly and attentive. Use of the house BMW was an added luxury. Very nice neighborhood and right across the street from the park. Very safe and walkable city and this location was close to some great restaurants. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the staff was extremely caring. One of the best night's sleep as the room as quiet. Highly recommend the Wellesley.

Amazing stay. Concierge, bar, restaurant location all 10 out of 10. Will stay nowhere else in the future. Made me feel like at home. Helped me get out of a few work jams. So professional but friendly. Just incredible. Cannot say enough. Be back soon
