9 Hertford Street

Convenient location right in front of Shepperd's Market in lovely Mayfair. Entrance is quaint and looks like a private house entrance. 9 Hertford is a small and private building with serviced apartments. The noise from the pubs at Shepperd's Market at night may be uncomfortable for those staying on the apartments facing Hertford Street. Weekends the area gets very busy. Tube is walking distance from 9 Hertford. Used frequently the Green Park Station. Service is courteous and friendly, however limited to a staffed reception desk at limited hours besides housekeeping and maintenance. Guests do have a key to entrance for off hours. Checking in/arriving off hours is also possible on special instructions from management. There is availability for private paring at their garage. Stayed in a suite on the 4th floor facing Hertford Street. Bedroom is on the smallish size, however comfortable. As it is the last floor, the windows inside the room are angled, taking some space and staying on the way. Maintenance and decor could use some upkeeping. Electricity outlets are an issue. However, reception can supply power *****s to add outlets as they did efficiently in my case. Bathroom has an odd design with toilet very close to the door, which was uncomfortable. Bath amenities were good quality and towels sufficient. Kitchen is conveniently equipped and comes with a washer/dryer. There is a nicely sized dining table and a working desk besides a comfortable sofa at the living area. Overall had a comfortable nine-night stay at the 9 Hertford serviced apartments. Would have returned last February (2024), however, could not get a response from them on attempting several times to make a reservation. There was ample availability, however, did not trust their website system. as for this previous experience. Made a reservation and received a message that the price was wrong. Finally stayed at the Cheval Gloucester without regrets.

So very close to the central London. An excellent neighborhood to stay in. An excellent experience to be had. I like an experience like this as it has a bit of hotel feel to it unlike other vacation rentals that feel like you are intruding in someone's home. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning folks who come by every three days are most helpful.

Step inside number 9 Hertford Street and you are in place of quiet grace. This is not a big box accommodation outfit. You have your own key to the door to come and go at odd hours when the front desk is unattended. It'sn immediately obvious that the staff will do what is needed to make your stay comfortable, however. Our apartment had a balcony overlooking the back of the building, connected to both the lounge and our large bedroom. Everything in the separate kitchen and bathrooms worked: in fact, everything in Number 9 Hertford works. It's an oasis in the busy centre of London.

The apartments are excellent, I have stayed here many times and the quality of the furnishings are brilliant. These are luxury apartments in a fantastic location with some great pubs and restaurants nearby. A five minute walk through Green Park gets you to Buckingham Palace. I will be back later this month and would not stay anywhere else in London.

Fantastic. Huge (for London) one bed apartment for a quarter of the price of the grand hotels a couple of streets over. Location is brilliant, right in the middle of Shepherds market, so every bar and restaurant you can imagine. If we move back to London, this is where we’ll live. I have no idea how they do this for this price in this location.

The apartment was so spacious for our family of 4. Stunning, heritage building and decor throughout, lovely staff, warm electric fire kept us cosy and the location was just exceptional, walking distance to metro station, as well as the beautiful green and Hyde parks, Buckingham palace, west end and some excellent pubs!

Our stay at 9 Hertford Street was an outstanding experience. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team there, who were extraordinarily helpful, kind, and responsive both during our stay and in the time leading up to it. Clearly, a lot of thought was put into furnishing/outfitting these apartments for an optimal guest experience. Our Mayfair Club one-bedroom apartment was very spacious, quiet and comfortable, and had loads of storage. The full kitchen was nicely equipped, and the inclusion of a washing machine is such a nice touch. The location is fantastic: although the street is charming and quiet, you are just steps from the restaurants and shops of Shepherd Market, and just north of Piccadilly -- we were regularly able to hail a black cab just outside the door. We highly recommend this lovely place!

Good location but not a “wonderful” property. Each apartment is different, so the experience likely varies accordingly. This apartment was tired with poor air conditioning and torn carpet. I would not stay again.
