Hotel Meridiana

Stayed here before 2 mins from KX Euston Eurostar. Excellent proactive friendly kind staff. Rooms are the actual size of a budget hotel in Central London. Mostly you pay for location. Meridiana is pristine and spotless. Well looked after and maintained For what you are paying it really delivers. I recommend to friends and family all the time. Fine in every way.

Friendly and efficient staff. Clean. Well maintained. Quiet. Extremely convenient for an early Eurostar train. All in all, very good value. My single bed in a single room was very narrow but more than adequate. No lift and quite a narrow staircase.

We stayed at the Meridiana for two nights. The double room we stayed in was small an clean. The small bathroom had a really good shower and a loo. It’s only a stones throw away from Kingscross Station and handy for a couple of local pubs/shops. The guy on reception was pleasant an we were able to leave our case whilst we went out. Tea an coffee facilities in the room.

Horrible hotel but good location, we had huge luggage and they gave me a room in the third floor, they don’t have elevator so I had to carry everything by myself. They charged me £95 pounds for the room and it was horrible and smelled bad. I would only recommend this hotel if it is just one night. It was clean, the only good thing that im going to say.

Lovely hotel and a Brilliant location approx 4 mins walk to Kings Cross,spacious room that has both a kettle and hairdryer and very comfortable bed, clean linen every day,shower ok but small basin, to get hot water from basin tap simply run the shower,no elevator but not a problem, will definitely return here.

I paid £360 for a single room and a room with 3 beds for my son and his friends on 30th August for just one night. My single room was so small i could just about touch both sides of the wall with my arms stretched out, not much room at all. This was not the main issue though, there was a terrible stench of sewage coming from the very tiny unclean shower with sliding door, the shower was not clean, the sides of the floor dirty as seen in the photos. I called the Manager to come to the room and he poured a liquid in the drainage part of the unit and it helped to disguise the smell but this took a while. I cannot understand why this was not done prior to me arriving in the room as it was impossible not to notice the stench as soon as the room door was opened. The headboard on the bed had a mark that looked liked from someones nose(photo added). the boys room was a lot better but still very small and my son did say the shower did not look very clean. When I am paying £360 for just one night for these two rooms (my single was £130) I expect a lot better, I could have gone to a much better hotel in the same area for less. If anyone puts good reviews on here for this hotel then they must be fake!! Please avoid going it is terrible. Outside is also a park where lots of noise is heard until the early hours with teenagers hanging around.

It’s a 2 star hotel so wasn’t expecting much but the room was nothing like any photos shown, the stairs carpet is dangerous and filthy. Main issue was 7 rooms and a shared bathroom. Think minimum of 15 people and 1 toilet is a bit too much. However guy on reception was present enough, room fairly clean.

I just needed somewhere cheap in Kings Cross to stay, and this came up the cheapest; it wasn't cheap by any stretch, but that's a London thing I think. Arguably I could have got a nearby Premier Inn or Travelodge for a lot cheaper and with better facilities, but such is the decision I made. The Decor had a bit of wear and tear and arguably could use a bit of a freshening up, but I didn't mind as it was solely somewhere for me to rest my head and nothing else. The Single Rooms are incredibly warm (even without the heating on), which can be a positive. It's an old building so I'll cut them a lot of slack as it's not reasonable to expect every room to have a private bathroom and toilet, but the rooms were very small all the same. In all honesty I'd consider it more a Private-Room in a Hostel than an actual Hotel room if that makes sense. That being said, the location is a stone's throw from Kings Cross St Pancras, so in that regard it's an ideal location (and they clearly know this given the pricing)

This is not going to be a good review. I had a horrible experience with the stuff working at this hotel as I was trying to book a stay for my son and his friend this summer. After booking on ***********, I got a message next day that my credit card was declined. I updated it and it was declined again. I contacted the hotel and was told, the name on the credit card has to match the name on the reservation. That does not make sense that a parent can't plan and pay for a trip for their kids....but, I card updated the credit card, changing it to my son's credit card that he is taking with him to Europe this summer. It was declined again and after 4th try my reservation was canceled. I thought the individual was extremely rude, with no explanation just kept declining my credit card and gave me no chance to make this booking!
