Basic rundown motel. Stayed 2 nights but room was not serviced. Only advantage was proximity to Universal
Studios.

Good location. Staff was solid. Clean room with nice bed. There is traffic noise as you are close to it.

I stayed at the Colony Inn with my 2 adult daughters for 10 nights whilst one of them attended a dance program in North Hollywood. The location was perfect for our needs - close to the studio and walking distance to public transport and a variety of food vendors. The Hotel is basic but clean and well maintained. A hair dryer and iron were available on request. The room was serviced each day.

I did not even stay at this property, i got there after a long day of travel to be told to park on the street where there was a small homeless tent. I was then told i can double park but to turn in my keys. As a hotel with parking, i should not have to park on the street. When i asked for a refund, since i didnt know we would struggle with parking, i was told to contact *******. ******* tried to request a refund which turned into a back and forth battle. They were not at maximum capacity and did not even offer a partial refund. This place wants you for your money and only that. They do not care for hospitality or customer service. I had to take a loss as a PREPAID guest who never checked in. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere! Im sure I'll get a lame "sorry you had an unpleasant experience" comment. No, you dont care, if you did, you wouldnt treat guests trying to give you business this way.

The place is outdated, room has an awful smell, but the staff are nice though. I hope they’ll improve the place. But overall, I am happy with how the staff treated us.

The room that we stayed in was very smelly and the room itself was very dirty. The sheets were stained in several locations and there was a cigarette burn in the “blanket.” We had stayed at this hotel about 6 years ago and it was much different. Always been outdated but it used to be very clean. It has gone very downhill since our last stay. The check in staff was very friendly and even let us check in a little early. The condition and smell of the room was totally unacceptable and we ended up leaving and checking into a different hotel. It is expensive for a hotel with very poor quality. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. You will not be happy with the condition of the rooms. We were repeat customers that will never come back.

This is a fine one or three night accommodation - its clean, somewhat spartan but all the necessary amenities for a business traveler needing good access to North Hollywood at a reasonable price
