This was possibly the best location you could have in Los Gatos. Private rooms open to an outside garden. Had a great stay at this hotel. On the downside it was a long walk from the back parking lot to the front office to check in limited parking. Inside the room showed some age but I felt it to be clean and sanitary.

The service was great but the condition of the room could have been better. It has a leaky bathtub and chipped paint tiles.

The ability to walk to various restaurants and bars is excellent. The only downside was the bed. Very squeaky, noisy and not that comfortable.

Such a convenient place to stay for access to downtown Los Gatos. Loved the kitchen for making meals in when needed. Super comfy bed too!

Price was fine.
Location is great.
It's dated. This place needs a complete overhaul.
There's a photo from a 1999(?) tuneup and unlikely that anything has happened since.
TV is very dated and small and far away with crappy channel choices.
The windows are all covered expect for a large main window, so your basically staying in a cocoon.
To top it off, the maid forgot to replenish the little shampoo bottle etc so taking a shower was "different"...

We have stayed here many times with a good experience. This time, the bed creaked with the slightest move (should have been replaced or fixed, not acceptable) and they would not change us until the third day which we didn't do. Also, one of the nights there was no maid service.

Peggy on the front desk was most helpful. She had across a great recommendation for an affordable quality restaurant across the street. The room was spacious and well appointed. Not inexpensive ,but worth what I paid.
