Residenza d'Epoca Il Cassero

A group of us went on a nine-day plein air painting trip. Il Cassero is a treasure. It is a family home dating back to the seventeenth century with spacious well-appointed apar**ents in the heart of the town. Apar**ents have unique features like fireplaces and original wooden beamed ceilings. Grounds include a beautiful garden and family chapel where guests can share wine, or paint!~. Situated in a beautiful little town of Lucignano, remarkably free of the tourist hordes. Extraordinary views from this hilltop town. A painter's paradise. Several good restaurants! Definitely plan to return!

Stayed for a week with a group for painting holiday. The rooms are so beautiful, spacious, clean and equipped with modern amenities. Gorgeous garden filled with blooming flowers and i was occationally greeted by a texudo cat and a boy poodle. My room was quiet with a great view to the outer circle of the walled hill town. Bed was very comfortable. On top of all this, food and cafe from the bistro just right outside the gate was so good that I spent every morning having breakfast there. Highly recommend you stay with cassero.

When we booked we saw a really nice room online but in reality it was even way more beautiful. We stayed with two babies in one of the apar**ents and had a wonderful time. It was all exceptionally clean and the apar**ent made you think you are king and queen in a beautiful old castle. The apar**ent has everything you need including a free WiFi hotspot in your room, a ventilator and a modern Tv. We requested a baby cot for one of our kids and got the nicest one he ever slept in (antique wood with pearls imbedded within). The location is also great. The apar**ents are part of the city wall and everything is accessible by foot. The swimming pool (1 km away from the apar**ent) is large, clean and as beautiful like you see movies about Tuscany. The host (Massimo) is very kind and welcoming. When we needed a doctor for our youngest, he arranged it for us so the next morning we had an appoin**ent for her at his own doctor (gp) in Lucignano. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Lucignano or in the area!

Il weekend trascorso al 'Cassero' è stato piacevolissimo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la grande accoglienza di Massimo, sempre disponibile a qualunque supporto/consiglio. La residenza d'epoca 'Il Cassero' è stata davvero una scoperta. Un vero e proprio castello, rimasto pressoché inalterato, con un fascino unico. In quei giorni vissuti a Lucignano ed in particolar modo nella residenza in oggetto, mi è è sembrato davvero di vivere nel passato. Esperienza unica che consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che amano perdersi nei ri**i lenti di un piccolo borgo incantato. Eppoi la grande piscina con vista sulla Valdichiana (imperdibile). Speriamo di poter tornare presto...

Posto di assoluta bellezza e fascino antico. Massimo e Genziana sono fantastici padroni di casa e incredibile risorsa del posto. Ci siamo già tornati per la seconda volta. Abbiamo dormito benissimo, gli appartamenti sono completamente attrezzati per il soggiorno. All’interno della proprietà vi è una torre medievale imperdibile, dalla quale Leonardo fece un disegno del paesaggio toscano. Se fosse possibile metteremmo oltre 5 stelle!

Esperienza molto positiva, location molto affascinante e proprietario simpatico e molto disponibile. Bravissimo.
