GGuest UserThis is probably one of the best hotels in the area, and it's very conveniently located. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast offers a wide variety, including hot and cold beverages and coffee. There are plenty of staff, and the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk was particularly helpful. He told us about some great local restaurants, and on the day we checked in, it was very foggy and humid. He kindly advised us to wear masks when going out to avoid inhaling too much moisture, which was very thoughtful. My only minor suggestion for the hotel is regarding the gym equipment on the second floor near the entrance. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Perhaps it could be moved to a different spot, as it was quite chilly checking in with the main doors wide open on such a day.

GGuest UserThe hotel in this county far exceeded my expectations; I even considered staying another night. The location is unique, perched atop a small hill, accessible via a charming little tunnel. It offers panoramic views of the county. The room was spacious and clean, with complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks. A hot bedtime drink was even provided, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with everything delicious, including spicy shrimp! This was just a stopover; I'll definitely make a special trip to Luoping for a vacation in the future, and I'd definitely come back just for this hotel.

GGuest UserThe room size was just right, the shower water was acceptable, and there was an elevator. The main advantage was its proximity to Luoping Bus Station and Railway Station. For meals, you need to go to the area near the bus station. There are several bus lines from the bus station to the county town. To get to the Jiulong Waterfall Group, you can flag down bus number 8 at the bus stop in front of the bus station waiting hall.

GGuest UserI wanted to see the sea, but I ended up seeing a sea of flowers. I was lucky enough to add the owner on WeChat at the Kunming book market last year. Looking at his WeChat Moments, I felt this was a cool and unique hostel, and the books he selected were also very distinctive. I'd been wanting to visit for a while, and on a whim, I came without prior notice. The first floor is a bookstore, the second floor is guest rooms, and the back is the hostel. Because I was traveling with family, we booked two rooms. The double rooms were very spacious and great value; my family loved them. Meeting the owner in person, he was very easygoing and friendly. In this small county town, he regularly eats at one or two delicious little shops and buys the most unpretentious chicken cakes. Wandering, freedom, music, unrestrained laughter—he finds harmony with the world in his own way. He said he was born in 1897, and the name of the shop is a number he likes, without any special meaning; he hopes the bookstore will grow freely and exist until the end of the universe. Such freedom and open-mindedness are truly enviable. His ”goodnight” to the guests warmed my heart. It's been a long time since I've traveled or written a review, and this has inadvertently turned into a jumbled mess. This time, time was too short to fully experience the excitement of '97. I'll need to keep an eye on my boss's WeChat Moments more often, and hopefully I'll have the chance to attend a music festival organized by Boca Juniors sometime.

The hygiene and environment are relatively clean, the service attitude is also very good, the transportation is relatively convenient, and the breakfast tastes good. It is worth recommending.

The shower head in the bathroom has enough water. The rice noodles and porridge for breakfast taste good. The homestay is close to the rapeseed flower scenic area, and you can also see the flower fields on one side from the window. Before booking, I was a little hesitant because I saw some reviews (reviews in early 2023) pointing out that there were some flaws in the homestay. I specifically called the homestay to ask if those problems had been solved. The person in charge who answered the phone told me with certainty that those problems were no longer there and I could book with confidence, and explained in detail the causes of the problems and the measures to solve them. It is a reliable store!
