Upon our arrival, the first room we were provided by the hotel had a musky smell followed by dirty sheets with black stains, upon checking the rest of the beds there were multiple hair follicles, the fire alarm was hanging over the door, the bathtub paint was peeling and the room was hot. We called the front desk and notified them of the situations, they didn’t hesitate and moved us to a new room. We checked the sheets like we did on the previous room and didn’t see anything, the sheets seemed clean, no stains or follicles like the previous room. Other than the shower knobs being loose, the room looked better. Once we woke up, our entire bodies were itchy therefore we proceeded to thoroughly search the bed and see what was causing the itch. As we searched the bed we noticed several black stains which weren’t there the night prior and a little after we came across a bed bug. We checked both beds and on both beds we found them. We proceeded to the office, to inform management about this, to what they responded that they couldn’t do anything about it and that we weren’t able to get a refund and that how did they not know that it was us that brought them in. They told us that they would check us out if we didn’t want to stay and that we wouldn’t get a refund for the 2nd night. We grabbed our things and walked out the room. The manager said that he didn’t care because they will just rent the room again. Neglecting the knowledge of bed bug and renting again, is not save!
