Toc Hostel Madrid

The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to many of Madrid’s most famous attractions. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. The service is good, and the staff are friendly and professional. The area outside the hotel is lively, but the windows in the room are very well soundproofed, so it’s quiet and comfortable for sleeping. However, there are some areas for improvement. The room doesn’t provide slippers, which is a bit inconvenient. The room itself is a bit small, and the glass door of the bathroom offers little soundproofing, making using the bathroom slightly awkward. Additionally, both the bathroom and the shower room have motion-sensor lights, which can be inconvenient to use. Neither can be locked, and the shower room door doesn’t fully close, which might be an issue for some guests.

This Hostel was a good option that was less expensive than many other places in Madrid. We had a double room which was sufficiently large. It has a nice little balcony. Everything was clean and they cleaned the room everyday. There was a kitchen where you could get water, hot water, dishware, and store food etc. The location is very good. We walked to all the sites from the hotel.

The location for this place is superb. We had a bad experience with the staff name Laura. She is very rude and frustrating when talking to us at the kitchen area. The pantry is always full of people in the morning and evening time. It's really hard to get a place to sit down for a meal. The room is small and dark. Towels have weird smells, luckily we brought our own towels. Not worth the price paid.
