The check-in experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. We purchase an extra night so that when we arrived at the hotel really early in the morning our room would be available; however the room that was assigned to us was NOT the one that we had reserved and it was an up-hill battle to get our reserved room. As if we had not already paid for it, we had to wait until the room became available after 3:00 PM. The hotel assigned us a lower category and visibly much smaller room, even though in both the hotel's website and the ******* website, the room we had reserved was entirely different. Hence, we had to wait in a room that was not our reserved room until the one we reserved was available. The manager did agree to move us to the room we had reserved, as shown in all the pictures and the description of the room in ******* and in their own website, but he was reluctant, and in fact he did not budge, in compensating us for their error, our discomfort, and the interruption of our planned event that day. The manager did not offer any type of compensation of any kind as a gesture of their willingness to make their wrong right. Hence, this is a hotel I will never return to. They failed us, and they charged us for a room that was not the one we reserved, even when they knew we had purchased that extra night. The manager displayed complete disregard for acceptable customer care.
