I gave my parents a surprise trip to Madrid. They loved the hotel. Location was great and breakfast was superb

The staff was attentive. The room (junior suite) was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent as we could walk to all the main attractions that we wanted to see in Madrid.

The hotel has a nice lobby and the breakfast buffet was very good. We had a few pretty simple issues during our stay that management struggled to resolve. First off, there was no blind on our windows which made it very bright and difficult to sleep. When we told management, they checked and said the blinds were motorised blinds, but were broken. After we complained that this made it difficult to sleep, they offered to move us to a different (worse) room. They offered a larger room but said we would have to pay the difference. We eventually ended up in a smaller room. They also offered us nothing to compensate for the lack of blinds and the hassle of moving, which I found a bit unimpressive. Overall the hotel has some things missing and broken, and the furnishing in the rooms wasn't particularly nice. The location of the hotel is very convenient and central with lots of bars and restaurants right outside.

Somewhat disappointed as there was no air conditioning available. My recollection from previous stays at this hotel was that we had air conditioning that we could control in the room regardless of season!

The staff and rooms were lovely. The neighborhood is vibrant, but noisy, though the rooms have multiple layers of shutters which help mitigate that somewhat. This neighborhood does not sleep, so do not expect complete quiet. Location is right in the middle of everything.

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely big room, which is lovely and clean. You can easily walk to all the sites as well

Excellent property!! This was my first time traveling to Europe and I couldn’t have picked a better city or property!! Would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay again!!
