Avea Accommodation

Avea is a modern style guesthouse. All facilities such as a hot shower, AC and WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. Towel and soap, toiletpaper all routinely provided. The accommodation is kept very clean. Drinking water and boiling water to make your own coffee or tea is included. Staff want to give good service to the guest. It is not a place where you just get a room for a certain time and that is it. The location is not directly in the city center, but in Anna Nagar which means you have to deal with rickshaw drivers. Staff will assist you. I walked up and down to town and the bus stations. Arappalayam bus stand (Munnar, Coimbatore destinations) is 6 km away. Mattuthavani bus station (Chennai destination) is at a distance of 3 km. Keep in mind Madurai city center is very congested (narrow streets with a lot of noise and exhaust fumes). Anna Nagar is where the city middle class lives. It is more quiet and restaurants are of better standards. Stayed four days.

The hotel is located in an area with ***y restaurants around. It's a budget hotel, don't expect much, I think the comments are exaggerated : ok it was clean, but our room was small, without any window, a bit smelly. The service was welcoming. I think I would pay 10 to 20 euros more next time. But if your budget is limited it's not a bad option

The rooms are so clean and comfortable toilets are beyond my expectations. Only one thing to highlight hotel should have a vehicle to hire for their guests other than everything is perfect . Hotel staff very friendly and kind gentle*** at the reception I think his name is Raam . He’s the best .

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff and all the greenery at the property. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous. Hot water facility and all the amenities are good. Definitely enjoyed the stay.

We were family if 11 and we had booked 7 rooms, The rooms were clean and tidy and was within budget. Very accommodative staffs. The only issue we faced was the other guest staying in the nearby rooms were smoking causing some discomfort, though smoking was not allowed inside the building . Other than that we had a very pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel !
