Excellent customer service, quiet place where you can listen to ambient music in the lobby and the birds singing from open windows. Loved how welcome they are to offer all the guests coffee, tea, some packed noodles and fresh water in a shared kitchen on the ground floor during the whole stay. We embraced that its name 'The Nest House' made us feel that we were at home as we were able to walk barefoot inside the building.

We only stayed for one night and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Friendly host on arrival and very quick check in process. The hotel was budget, but the only time this was noticeable was the lack of amenities inside the room, there was a cute little self service area on the ground floor though. We spent most of our time out and about so this didn't bother us. Short walk to main sight seeing areas. Would recommend!

Very happy to stay in The Nest House, love the Instagramable murals and decorative artwork which makes me feels like staying in an art gallery! The room was super clean, quiet and cozy which provided us a very pleasant stay! Definitely worth the price and we will come again!

Very convenient and easy-to-reach location. It is located at Melaka Raya. The staff is friendly and helpful. Suitable for couples. I would definitely come back to The Nest if I want to stay in Melaka.

This place is for you to look at, not for you to stay or use. When I arrived at 9pm, there was no doorbell on the front entrance. I was trying to knock the glass door, then a guy came to open. The first thing he said was asking me to take my shoes off. He probably didn’t speak English well, I asked if he was able to switch me to a one-bed room, he said yes, then still 2 small bed room. By the way, there’s no elevator. Obviously you need to carry your luggage upstairs (2nd or 3rd floor) no matter how many pieces you have, of course no one’s going to help. Later, he also taught me to close my door softly and how to use the keypad. I paid 470+ RM for 2 nights, which was already overpriced. I was there not to learn I needed to take my shoes off or to close the door carefully. I was looking for somewhere to stay with peace. There’s no AC on the first floor, and they asked you to turn off your AC when you are not there. I mean, I paid that price, if you want to save electricity it’s your thing. Decision is mine, and I don’t need to be told what to do. Especially under the Malacca weather, when I walk in I wanted to stay somewhere cool, not even warmer than outside. Maybe the owner or designer had some thoughts, but please keep them with yourself. I’m not paying to get education from you. And I need some sort of servicing which seemed to be nonexistent. Only one dude sitting there caring about his own thing.

It’s really worth staying a night here! Great environment, cleanliness, tidiness and hospitality, just book hahahaha (ps: do ignore my messy room, it was 100% tidy at first)
