We booked 3 rooms for a week as a family - a triple with large balcony and seaview (and a nice clean Travel cot for the baby) and two doubles with balconies and views over the entrance of the hotel and the road. The rooms were lovely, modern and very spacious with comfortable beds and walk-in showers, coffee makers, mini-bar and a safe. The cleaning ladies do a marvellous job re-freshing the rooms daily. The staff were wonderful right from our arrival and all through the week with answering any questions. Breakfast was great with a fantastic selection of fruits, yoghurts, cooked and cold cuts, cakes, coffee, teas, juices etc. etc. And the staff in the breakfast room, who also served lunches and did the outside bar by the pool, were all very nice and helpful. Highchairs in the corner if you need one. The area around the pool has lots of loungers, seats, day-beds, sofas and tables so nice for a drink or lunch by the pool. There is a gate near the pool for access across the main road to the beach and all the Chiringuito Restaurants for fresh fish cooked on the beach. The only drawback to relaxing by the pool is the noise from the busy main road by the beach, but we still enjoyed our time there swimming and sun-bathing. Malaga itself is about a 20/25+ mins walk to the tunnel into the centre near the Alcazaba and Cathedral which is perfect for sightseeing with great Tapas bars and shopping. If you can't do the walk into Malaga there are loads of regular buses that stop near the hotel to take you into the centre. There are also a few restaurants and Tapas Bars near the hotel if you prefer to stay local. On our first night, as it was late, we ate in De Sancha just a few doors away - it doesn't look much from the outside but the food was great and very reasonable for the price. We loved the hotel and would definitely go back again. Many thanks to all the staff at Soho Boutique.
