Akra Sorgun Tui Blue Sensatori - All Inclusive

What can I say about this absolutely wonderful place! This was our 7th visit! The hotel has been renovated ( even though we thought it was wonderful before) we usually visit at Easter, must say our visits in the future will be may again. The hotels renovations are amazing, it’s beautiful. Now, on to the staff and management, our youngest daughter had her wedding here, everything was perfect. The staff can’t do enough for you, they are truly the best staff we have met on our many travels. Today I had to speak to the manager ( nothing major) but, everything was sorted out quickly and professionally. I cannot praise them enough. Well done to Akra Barut Sorgan for employing a fantastic team. By the way. Usually we book the restaurants, we were lazy this time and kept forgetting!! We mostly ate at the buffet restaurant, there are no complaints from us. A massive choice of food ( if you can’t find anything, or have any complaints there’s something wrong with you!!) The hotels is 24 hour all inclusive, after the buffet closes the main restaurant changes to alacarte loads to eat and loads to drink. Again I cannot praise the staff and management enough. The Akra Sorgun Sensatori by Tui has to be the only choice for couples and Families. There are clear separations to allow adults only to enjoy peaceful surroundings and everything also that families with children of all ages require for a five star holiday. The staff are so friendly and attentive and give everything to make the holiday special.we have had an amazing 2 weeks and were delighted with all the new refurbishments carried out which make for a perfect holiday. Rooms are so relaxing and perfect in every way designed especially to make you feel relaxed. Food is of the highest quality and there is something for everyone 24 hours a day. Drinks are premium brand served in style by the attentive bar staff. The beach is beautiful and the place I spent everday relaxing. There are so many fantastic things I could write about but would take all day it’s so perfect. I will miss the very special waitress Dilek who is so beautiful and the standout member of staff. The hotel is very lucky to have her she is professional efficient and on her day off the area she covers everyone misses her so desperately. We have just completed a fantastic week at this beautiful hotel and I cannot think of a single negative to mention. The staff here are incredible, always only too happy to help with a big smile on their faces. We travelled as a family group of 4 adults and a 10yo boy and every single one of us had a cracking time. Food & drink is top notch with a wide variety of food and all of your branded imports included in the AI package. The bar staff knock up some smashing cocktails that we were only too happy to sample. Special shout has to go out to Baver the waiter in the main restaurant. He made an extra special effort and formed a real bond with our nephew. So much so that he is now semi fluent in German haha. Can’t praise the place high enough, we will definitely be back.

I want to express my deepest satisfaction with our 2-weeks stay in this place. I have been to many 4* & 5*hotels in various EU countries, but nowhere have I experienced such a high level of quality and service. The hotel itself is located in an a**ospheric place out of the nearby cities of Side & Manavgat, what makes it a perfect place for a peaceful relaxation. There’s a lot of space to walk & play, especially beautifully kept green garden with many paths, separating main building from the beach, well-equipped gym and indoor pool. The private beach itself is clean, veery wide and long with many sunbeds & umbrellas available. The food in the hotel is just remarkable! Everything served in any place (main rest., á la carte, BBQ, snack stands etc.) was always fresh & tasty. We visited just 2 á la carte restaurants (Olive & Ocean) and both were above expectations. Even Olive restaurant helped us organize my mom’s birthday - Thanks! The hotel staff is extremely helpful & always ready to assist you in any matter you may have. The management is also visible (e.g. Aicha ) at place supervising the staff & assuring top-quality. All the people from hotel’s staff were friendly & did their best to make our stay unforgettable, however we want to especially appreciate work of the following people: SEMIH – a very friendly & gentle waiter in the main restaurant who served us during the breakfasts – along with his trainee OZCAN. Both did their job well! EFE – a hard-working, decent beach-waiter who assured we always had fresh drinks on our sunbeds. TUNÇAY – a lifeguard on the beach who always stood alert, monitoring people swimming and who helped my mom get out of the water as the entry is quite steep and stony. BAVER – an ‘evening shift’ waiter in the main rest. who served us perfectly during our late meals when we missed the main dinner. Very gentle guy with very good English with whom we liked to speak. FATIMA – an undisputed omelette-master who made sure my breakfast was tasty and energetic every single day! LUTFU – extremely positive bartender at the beach who fixed exotic drinks for us. UMIT – the SPA Manager who took care of adjusting the SPA offer and explained various trea**ents. Even though we did not use SPA this time, we loved friendly chats with him. FEYYA – waiter serving us during the dinners. Also, girls from Client’s relationship management team were very supportive, friendly and available even very late in the evening. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about. Only few small things that could be improved: the wine during the meals is served by the waiters in glasses but it’s not allowed to get a bottle of wine on the table, what is a bit frustrating when you sit in few people. So you have to call waiter to pour you another glass any single time.

Went for 10 days at my favourite hotel which we haven't been due to the lockdown restrictionsin uk after travelling from uk from 1am to catch the the flight at 6am we arrived at the hotel at 1500 the next day .. no welcome drinks no upgrade lreception staff with glasses cannpt remember his name was not that pleasant but did check us in fast. .some good changes noticed the thea coffee was bigger better ..they have a new cofee tea room upstairs with chocolates macaroons lovely design which we used daily and also lobby bar was much better decor . apart from one of the light fitting falling off only on one night which luckily did not injure another person in the lobby bar.. the weighing scale in the room was a nice touch to weight your suitcase or yourself ..as always the hotel was immaculate our room was thoroughly cleaned by gulsum the maid daily..we found some ants in the room once which was quickly sorted by the hotel when we rang reception .. the room need functional lighting..could not see ..no shaving mirror in adult standard room i struggled to put my lenses on ..lots of accent amd ambient lighting though .. grounds very well looked after.. food was incredible 3 free a lacarte to choose from could not cancel the a la carte via the tui blue app we spoke to guest relations who was able to book for us .. we went to the ocean .olive and our favourite safran so much variety at dinner time.. food at lunch time food could be slightly better but saying that breakfast so much variety dinner incredibly buffet restaurant amazing sweet or pudding cannot fault at all plenty of choices..I was able to access lactose free milk for breakfast and the ladies or waitress were wonderful ...we requested some medication for cold flu symptoms reception contacted the pharmacy and medication was delivered by pharmacy to the reception which was incredibly effective. The staff is what makes us go back again and again .. the apprentice Feyzi or student who was polite pleasant professional at dinner time fa took the time to speak to us was very attentive professional and wonderful.. please give him some credit for this.. the wonderful lady who provided us with great health advice at the spa zulfite an absolute gem and maxl great downtown earth guy ..used spa 160 pounds for 2 people had a body massage from the ladies from bali ..was not worth the money. Felt rushed need more offers at spa which is seperate from hotel .The food was exceptional ..we went to the free a la carte olive safran ocean which was excellent . The only criticism this year is that the pool was not heated i could not enjoy the jaccuzzi and i cannot swim i was looking forward to it ..partner could not get in the pool at all was so cold very disappointing most people sat by the pool rather than enjoying it ..heat the pool specially for elderly clients a freezing pool is not great..other hotel heat the jacuzzi..cummon Akra you can do better than this you're

This Hotel is truly a Wonderful find. We’ve just come back from our 3rd Visit. From the moment you arrive, the customer service and experience is Fantastic. The Staff are so Friendly and attentive, and it’s totally spotless everywhere. It’s newly renovated, and it’s really looking Fabulous! We always book a separate swim up suite room opposite the Kids pool area (room 1016) which gives you your own space to swim in your own pool, but still right next to the bar and easy quick access to the kids facilities too. The Food is incredible! So clean and fresh, with unlimited options. Freshly cooked stations, beautifully presented, and everything there for Children too. The Japanese Restaurant and Steak Restaurant are also well worth a visit because they are outstanding! The Managers running them, provide the best experience we’ve ever had! The effort the Hotel puts into keeping the grounds everywhere beautifully looked after with all the flowers and greenery makes it really pretty as well. Yes, they are constantly doing maintenance and renovating, but that’s to continually improve for their Guests. There’s an awesome shaded Playground with a Trampoline park which is a nice touch, and the Beach is just gorgeous and well looked after too. We rented a Cabana there with full service all day which is a lovely thing to do. Our Family with two young Children (4 and 2) all had the absolute Best time, as always!! Our Children attend the Kids Club and Special thanks to all the staff there and the Entertainment Crew who are just the most friendliest and sweetest Ladies and Gents who go above and beyond with their smiles and energy levels! Beth, Charlotte, Vickie, the two Louises, Tiffiny and Meg - you are absolutely amazing!! Thank you for all the care. Our Boys miss you already! You honestly cannot go wrong by choosing this Hotel. Finding it was for us life changing, as we are very picky Customers. And now, this is our ‘go to’ choice twice a year!

Arriving at the hotel doesn't inspire you with confidence. The front is actually the staff car park, very strange! Entering the foyer you would hope for something fantastic, befitting this type of hotel, but you will be let down. I don't know who the designers were but they failed miserably with the first impression factor. When you get past this however the Hotel does shine. The refurbished rooms are excellent, very modern and clean. The food also is excellent whether you are in the buffet or a la cart you won't be disappointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly. What helped also was the hotel appeared to be half full so no queues anywhere. The grounds are nice though are still being established so not at their best. Disappointingly the hotel does not have a pier that you can use and have a drink on like most hotels in the area. Why??? One big negative I have to say is the entertainment. It was very poor, probably the worst I have experienced. I think the TUI entertainment director needs to get there and sort this out as I can see it putting a lot of people off. Virtually all they do is sing at the various stages around the hotel. Mediocre karaoke singers at best I'm afraid. The one bright light however is Elizabeth who is a talent. The groups / people that came in were also of poor quality. Something I think the hotel needs to get a grip on. One last moan and a head for people in 2024 - there is a building site next door. A new hotel is being built and probably won't be completed this year so be prepared for some noise and disruption. There isn't much around the Hotel. There is a large wooded area across the road however we were advised by staff not to go walking there. It is too far to walk into Side town which is well worth a visit however a taxi at 15 euro (slightly over priced) or bus at less than £1 are available.

Like ourselves many guests return year after year it was so nice to see people we had met before and meet new ones- why do they keep coming back? Quality, value for money and a great time from start to finish mostly due to the wonderful staff from management visable at all times, through to the cleaners, all work hard to make your holiday special. Food in the buffet was the best we have had, so good we cancelled 2 of our restaurant bookings Tarcin was amazing and worth the extra charge so good we went twice thanks Ezme and Sercan for wonderful service. Entertainment was the best in recent years from the singers around the bars to the band's in the clubhouse Molf were our favourite band sadly they only appeared once, personally not a fan of the Greek Band Improvement could be made by varying the sets I'm sure the singers and bands have more variety in their repertoire - for returning guests some groups are still singing the same sets they did 2 years ago. Also the volume is too loud some nights - so loud bar staff couldn't hear you and in the piano bar it vibrated. The refurbishment has made the hotel clean and modern As expected there are some snags to be fixed If you do see anything report it don't just moan We reported a few issues all were sorted within hours or days as appropriate. The beautiful grounds will take time to recover from the builders dust but as always the gardeners are working hard everyday. Sadly no BBQ whilst we were there, not sure if this was due to staff shortages, some areas did appear short on staff compared to previous years which did impact service on a few occasions. We did miss the Butterfly Bar and the waffle station but appreciate change happens. Couple of issues I feel need to be addressed hence my 4 stars not 5 I did raise the same issues last year direct so disappointed they are still issues. Smoking /Vaping and e cigarettes - clear signage where not permitted but sadly constantly ignored even vaping inside and at the main bar not good for others especially those with medical conditions.I Dress code - this varies on the info you are handed at reception vs the TUI blue app - it's not good in a 5 star hotel to eat your evening meal looking at guests who look like they are going to the beach - swimshorts, baseball caps and flip flops We never saw anyone challenged about dress code. Had a wonderful holiday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food excellent in all restaurants for all meals never seen so much lovely food , deserts etc… something for everyone - all fabulous. Al la carte restaurants-lovely food excellent. Drinks and cocktails from the bars - excellent. Coffee shops x 2 was amazing which also served home made chocolates, ice cream , macaroons etc.. all beautiful , excellent coffees . Staff from restaurants, bars, housekeeping, reception, porters , managers , Tui reps - all went out of there way always happy to help nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment - spent most nights around the piano bar - the singers Mike, Victor, Thalia, Elizabeth - all amazing. Tina turner tribute and quizzes was excellent. Plenty of comfy sunbeds around the pool and on the beach - no need to get up early to get a bed. The guys at the beach were excellent. Although beach wasn’t the best sand beach / was quite a few pebbles but served its purpose and swimming in the sea was lovely. Rooms was good size all with great views - any problems quickly resolved. Rooms came with all toiletries and a well stocked mini bar restocked daily - all complementary. All in all had a fabulous relaxing holiday. Would definately return to this hotel it definitely deserves its 5 stars .
