Let me put it all together in chronological order. We arrived before noon and received a warm welcome, English was not an issue, and all spoke the level we needed. The lobby is just beautiful. We had booked a family room with an extra bedroom and a big terrace and it was ready as it should be just after lunch, around 1-2 pm. The room was nice and clean. There was a small glitch with the AC in the living room, it did reset all the time after a few seconds. After talking at reception, it was fixed during dinner the same day. This can happen. Regarding food, it was OK, but yes I can imagine more options, daily changes, and more free seats. Drink machines were a lot of the time empty serving only 1 juice favor. What needs to be improved is the part of the dining area with AC, there was simply garbage in water flowing down from the cold door glass. Disgusting, we never came back here. Regarding pool bars, except one at the entertainment pool, later afternoon no ice coffee, ice crush, lime, etc... So here is a place to improve and shine more. We liked the free popsicles (again only at that single bar). The elevators :) Yes definitely a bottleneck in time of lunch/dining time, but not sure if I would be able to change something here, It was built that way, facelift cannot change it. The outside area at the hotel is very nice, and clean with an external wall fountain. We were long sleepers, so we went to the pool around lunch and always found an empty place to take a seat. The area at sea is not that nice, looks older, and needs a refresh. One shower for hundreds of people is simply not enough. The sea was clean. And here I come to the bad experience of the holiday, the injury that happened to our daughter. She was just swimming in the lower pool and when touching the side wall with her foot, she cut the sole badly on a metal plate that should not be in a pool under any circumstances. After initial shock and search for a nonexistent lifeguard! everything went smoothly and within a few minutes thanks to the very kind nurse, a doctor at the hotel, and in the hospital. The only comment here would be, that the medical staff should speak at least basic English (I know they are employees of the hospital, so not to blame the hotel). As the wound was large, she got 7 stitches and the vacation was for her over. And here I come to a very positive experience. It was the stuff. Once they knew what happened, they offered all the help they could, we got a trolley, late checkout, and shuttle to the airport, and they asked every day about the foot. I must give a big thank you to the whole customer relations team including their manager, the local nurse, the waiters, simply all. Maybe it was also because I was polite and from the beginning understood that those people were not those who built and checked the pool. It did not make any sense to shout at them even though I was pissed of of course. So again thank you. After the return, also the complaint through
