Disappointing. The pool was closed during our stay, but no one communicated that in advance. Even during check-in, not one word about the pool being closed and I had two kids with me - obviously, they wanted to go swimming. We get to our room, change, and head downstairs to find a sign on the door to the pool stating it was closed. I asked the front desk clerk, who informed me the pump was damaged during a recent power surge and they were waiting on parts to fix it. That's fine, I get it, but no communication prior to or even during our stay?! Not acceptable. Do better, Hampton! My fault for booking a non-refundable room on *******. Lesson learned.
