Andrea Doria Hotel

Staff at this hotel are wonderful. They can’t do enough to help you and are always friendly from the Manager to the cleaning staff. Breakfast good, bedroom spacious, kept spotless , air con really good ,fridge , good sized balcony. Located in quiet area but just a gentle stroll to centre. Didn’t use pool as prefer beach. Would book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Spent two nights and wished we could spend more time there. The staff was very accommodating from the manager Ivan to the front desk person Roberta. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with great variety. The location on the lungamare was both quiet and close to the town center.

The staff is the best. They were comforting and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh with local ingredients, plus they provided international options like eggs and bacon. My kids enjoyed the garden swimming pool, foosball, and ping pong tables. Plus, the pool bar service was excellent... The family suite room was clean, relaxing with a beautiful balcony view. The hotel also offers free parking. Lastly, the staff arranged for us on check-out with local sun beds nearby. We couldn't ask for more.

This was our 4th or 5th visit over past few years and our first visit since Covid. Hotel staff are, as before very friendly and helpful. Hotel no longer has a restaurant or snack bar. However they have a good relationship with the Dolce Vita beach bar straight across the road which works well. Rooms are comfortable and has good aircon. Just as well as it was 35c all the time we were there. Breakfast is pretty good with fruit, brioche, cold meat etc. It’s about a kilometre to the centre of Marina di Ragusa where you have a choice of great restaurants. We will be back soon.

The staff really makes this hotel the best! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Most speak English as well. I needed to arrange for transportation from this hotel to my next one in Taormina and with a quick phone call from the person working the front desk it was done! The woman who manages the breakfast was also great, explaining all the choices and even offering to make me bacon & eggs! I went instead for some local cheeses, jam and bread. The rooms are spacious by European standards and have a nice big balcony with a line to dry your towels or swimsuits. They are one of the few hotels in the area that also has a pool if you prefer that. The location is at the end of a ***** of beach with many restaurants, beach clubs and shops. There is a nice path for bikes, I rented one and would recommend it to get around town if you don’t have a car. The path is also very scenic following the beach. I would recommend highly a stay here!

We were pleasantly surprised with quality of the rooms ( always very fresh ) and the warm welcome we received from all the staff especially from the person in charge himself - Mr Ivan! who made us feel really at home. The hotel enjoys many amenities like a private pool and access to a clean sandy beach where you can reserve your sun-beds for the day, all very well organized. The stay at Andrea Doria really exceeded our expectations. 10/10

Excellent weekend thanks to Vittorio and Ivan. They made sure that we enjoy our weekend. The hotel is very clean, in fact, I have never seen a hotel which takes hygiene so seriously!! The bed is very comfortable and the room is very spacious. The car park is very secure. Marina is very close to the hotel where you can find a lot of good restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely book again when visiting Sicily.

As a first time solo traveller I was quite nervous to be staying alone initially. However, my fears were gone after being helped by all the lovely staff at the hotel Andrea Doria! I also felt very safe with there being 24 hour concierge. The pedestrian gate is locked after a certain time in the evening so the intercom must be buzzed to gain access via the reception, which provides extra security. My room was very comfortable and had a modern and clean feel to it, plus good strong AC! The breakfast was very tasty, they offer a wide selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits along with sliced meats, cheeses and breads. I would recommend the strawberry cake! The pool area is well kept and relaxing. You can order drinks at the bar to be bought to your sun lounger which is very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay at Andrea Doria Hotel. Every member of staff is so attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk in to when you check out. It is clear that they take a lot of pride in making all guests feel at home. They all really do go above and beyond. Thank you for such a lovely stay, and I hope to return soon!

Struttura stupenda sul lungomare. A seguito di una piccola criticità, la receptionist Roberta e il Direttore Ivan hanno risolto prontamente il problema rendendo così indimenticabile il nostro soggiorno. Torneremo sicuramente e grazie ancora della disponibilità.
