Riad Malfa

We have travelled to Morocco several times, specially to Marrakesh, and this time we decided to try something different. The cosiness of a family like premises. For that purpose we chose the small Riad Malfa facility. This very tinny and quiet place is closely ran by a very sympathetic lady, who fell in love with Morocco and decided to live there rather than in her home town in France. The amenities are beautiful and very well taken care of. Breakfast is unique and the place a 5 min walk from the central square Djema El-Fna. Well done Beatrice!

We are a group of 9 friends who were recently at Riad Malfa and without exception we all had a fabulous 3 night stay. Béatrice, the lovely owner, arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and as the riad is not accessible by car, Ismael, the guy who works there, met the taxi and accompanied us on the short walk to the accommodation, where we were given refreshments of cake and mint tea. A great welcome to begin our stay. The rooms were quaint and spotless, all arranged around the courtyard. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, served attentively by Ismael. We enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner on the terrace on our first night, delicious and excellent value for money at 15 euros pp. The location was perfect, just a ten minute stroll from the main square and all its atmospheric craziness and we enjoyed the walk each day, wandering past the street food stalls, the souks and partaking in the unique Marrakech sport of dodging the steady stream of motorcycles, handcarts, dumper trucks and donkeys in the narrow alleys :D Marrakech is a fantastic city, like no other and our trip was one of the best short breaks we'd all had. Béatrice and her staff at Riad Malfa were instrumental in this, and she looked after her guests right until the end, when she came with us to where the pre-arranged taxis were picking us up and waving us goodbye until next time. If you expect a European style experience, go elsewhere! Riad Malfa is a charming little place in the Medina of Marrakech. Beatrice, her team (special mention for Mohammed) and Simba the cheeky kitten will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are exceptional although when we were there the terrace was only really warm enough on the first morning. The ambience is exceptional.

Avons passé une super semaine dans ce riad très bien placé tout proche de la place Jemaa El Fna et facile d'accès. Décor authentique, tout est très propre, les lits confortables, excellents petits déjeuners servis en terrasse et plats faits maison à la demande, il ne manque rien dans ce havre de paix où vous avez en prime Béatrice qui réserve à ses clients un accueil chaleureux et est pour eux aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Elle est de bon conseil pour vous orienter dans vos visites, choix des restaurants ou achats et organise les excursions que vous souhaitez (le chauffeur vient vous chercher au riad). Un bon point pour celle de la vallée de l'Ourika où Béatrice nous a conduits pour monter jusqu'à la cascade avec un guide avant de déjeuner dans un cadre bucolique et de rencontrer les habitants d'un village berbère.Encore un grand merci à toi Béatrice.

Mon séjour à Riad Malfa a été absolument remarquable de bout en bout: dès mon arrivée, J'ai été chaleureusement accueillis par le personnel courtois et professionnel, qui m' a immédiatement fait sentir comme chez moi. Les chambres étaient impeccables, spacieuses et décorées avec goût, et chaque détail était pensé de manière originale, Le service était tout simplement exceptionnel. Le personnel était toujours disponible pour répondre à mes questions et demande. Grand point positif de l'hôtel: la restauration: Le petit déjeuner varié et délicieux, tout était délicieux et exquis.

Très très bon établissement et Béatrice est une personne très gentille et très serviable avec ces hôtes ainsi que son personnel ,l’établissement est très propre et très bien placé (calme) ,je vous le recommande vivement.Elle peut vous conseiller des excursions qui sont très bien ,je l’ai est moi mêmes essayer

Excellent séjour passé au riad Malfa, tout y était parfait. L’emplacement (à proximité de toutes les activités) au calme, l’accueil (Beatrice est une hôte exceptionnelle), la disponibilité, les conseils. Les petits déjeuners et repas sont gouteux. Les chambres sont très propres. Rapport qualité prix super.

Muy positivo, el Riad, que tiene buena ubicación y es auténtico y bonito, las habitaciones muy bien acondicionadas y ambientadas, buenas instalaciones de comedor, terraza y por supuesto el servicio de su anfitriona Beatrice! También, el recibimiento con té y pastas, múltiples detalles que marcan la diferencia y justifican tan buena crítica. A la mañana un buen desayuno en el comedor o la terraza, limpieza impoluta y aunque no pudimos probar su gastronomía, cocinan unas mujeres locales que estoy seguro que debe ser totalmente acertado. Beatrice habla poquito inglés pero se hace entender cómo pueda. Cuestiones negativas que reseñar es la tour operadora - Miftah Tours - con la que trabaja, no es recomendable, tuvimos una muy mala experiencia con ellos en la excursión al desierto. Alojamiento con encanto a todo detalle - las fotos lo dejan bien claro.. y servicio esmerado, muy recomendable Riad Malfa!

La ubicación del alojamiento es genial, está a 5 minutos de la plaza y en una zona genial para comer algo en los puestos callejeros de bocadillos que hay prácticamente al lado. Además, recomendamos el puesto de buñuelos que está en la esquina de la calle, ¡riquísimos! La habitación estaba limpia y cuando llegamos aunque eran las 2 de la mañana nos dieron un té de bienvenida con unas pastas. Lo único malo es que al estar en la planta baja era un poco oscura y no tenía ventilación. Cama cómoda y espacio para colocar cosas. El desayuno es en la terraza y es súper completo, el mejor de todos los que probamos en Marruecos. ¡Probar la miel es algo imprescindible! El trato fue bueno, hablan español e inglés y son muy agradables. ¿El mejor? Simba, el gatito del riad.
