Riad Tchaikana

My communication with Khadija ahead of time was quick and helpful. Upon arriving, Khadija was incredibly welcoming, getting us settled in and with the help of a colleague, we were shown around Marrakech and then relaxed that first night for a wonderful meal right there at Riad Tchaikana. The room we stayed in and that or our friends were right off of the central courtyard . . . convenient, peaceful, and beautiful. The city is a bustling, immersive experience not to be missed. However, it was also great to have this oasis to return to and relax.

Beautiful, harmonious accommodation with a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is very pleasant and helpful to the guests. Food amazing. The roof terrace was also great, where we could enjoy the sunset. We will want to come back here. Thank you for everything.

Tchaikana was the best place we stayed in Morocco!!!! An oasis in the hassle of this marvelous city. The riad is wonderfully restored and decorated very tasteful!!! We slept like never before in that comfy bed and room. The breakfast is superb and the most valuable of course are the wonderful persons that run this gem and make your stay unforgettable!!! P. S. The location could not be better also.

We stayed at the Riad for 5 days / 4 nights and it was absolutely a wonderful experience. The Riad is stunning, very clean, quiet (whilst in the heart of the medina) and the rooms are all decorated with a lot of taste. The manager Khadija took care of everything, our special requests (we were a family of 10), she was attentive and provided very good advices. We had dinner twice at the Riad and it was delicious, even better than the great restaurant in the medina. Even my dad, who is very picky in terms of couscous and tajine taste congratulated them ! Try the zuchhini soup and the lemon/ olive tajine, so yummy ! I will come back there definitely and wish Tchaikana a good future ! A bientôt, Nadia

Just stayed at the Tchaikana for four nights, and I have nothing but praise for this Riad. Location is very convenient, no more than a few minutes to reach the heart of the souks, and maybe 10 minutes to El-Fna. The Riad, although not a luxury one, is very beautiful and peaceful, as a Riad should be. It is very well decorated, and also impeccably kept: hyper-clean, wonderful scent in the air, beautiful trees and plants. The terrace was covered this time of year, but I imagine it will be even more pleasant when it’s open. We took two rooms and both were great: huge areas, with a separate closet, bathroom with shower and loo. Very well decorated and appointed, and the bedding was very good. But the highest praise must go to the staff. Khadija and Bouchra are absolutely charming, and helped us a lot during our stay, be it procuring medicine one of my daughters needed, walking with us to a hard to find spot on the Medina, or recommending us to the carpet merchant where the Riad procures their own carpets - impeccable man and got us very, very nice prices. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and really fé lt at home - the beautiful but not ostensible decor, the quality of the amenities and the kindness of the staff have that effect. We did not try the inhouse hammam, so I cannot offer an opinion on that. Breakfast was great, very varied with a bit of everything, ranging from croissants to local delicacies. Sadly, we didn’t have dinner at the Riad, but the food looked (and smelled) great, and I heard other guests praising it. Hopefully next time. Totally recommended, fantastic value for money.

Very pleasant stay , great rooms , the suites are really spacious and nicely decorated The personnel is super nice and helpful Centric , close to the place des épices and about 10 / 15 minutes walk to most of the médina places to see A place I would recommend definitely

If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, serenity and excellent service with stunningly beautiful aesthetics this is the place to visit. You are made to feel extremely welcome and looked after, nothing is too much trouble- genuinely kind people wanting you to love your experience in Marrakech. Just a magical place. The staff are so welcoming and conscientious, and we felt so looked after for the whole week. Amazing breakfasts, incredibly quiet, calming, comfortable bedrooms and soothing mint tea at any time of day after the noise and colour of the markets. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Riad Tchaikana was great. The staff was really nice and the food (breakfast and dinner) was great. Plus, the Riad was super clean and well-maintained. It was a wonderful experience. If you're looking for a place that offers both hospitality and a clean, welcoming environment, Riad Tchaikana is a good choice!
