Hotel is a bit dated and could do with a refurb but otherwise clean. Was able to park in the hotel car park though you need your room key to open the gates. Plenty of parking spaces though.
My room was very big and spacious. I think I had an accessible room as the beds were low and the bathroom was a big and more like a wet room with just a shower which was very low down. It flooded the bathroom when I had a shower. This was all fine for me but the room was on the second floor so not sure how that’s ‘accessible’ in a fire when you can’t use the lift!
Or maybe this was a standard room and they’re all like that.
Tea, coffee and kettle provided in room. Little sweets were placed on the bed from housekeeping which is nice.
Breakfast was ok- buffet style. You grab a tray and off you go!
No hot food. But usual fruit, bread, cereal, ham and cheese, yoghurt etc.
The only pastries they had were the same croissants every day, which was disappointing as most other places (in France and the rest of Europe) offer a variety of pastries.
Lovely spacious gardens near the outdoor pool.
I felt the hotel was quite basic and not 4 star, although it had a spa area and other facilities that I didn’t use.
Overall it was fine.
