I don't know where to start. We have done a dozen of Spa Hotel in Sweden so i believe that our experience in this hotel is valuable. I start with the room. It reminds me one of those airport's hotel room in London, where really tired, you just wanna sleep, don't even care if the room looks claustrophobic. There's no "bathroom sink" as such. It's in middle of the room, like a kitchen, with one of those small mirror to zoom on your face. Deal with that when you wanna shave. Literally like a kitchen sink. Doesn't seems at all romantic. The view from the room ? It's the parking for those who like to see the cars. Let's hold on, hold on your chairs, the best part is coming. The slippers :) First time ever, and i mean "ever", i see that in a Spa in Sweden "Enjoy 39 Kr", the slippers were in the room. I looked at my GF, and told her "We have to buy them, you can't go in the Spa with your boots and your robe". Especially that going to the SPA, guess ? You have to pass by the restaurant with your robe ! We closed our eyes, it was so pathetic experience to pass by the restaurant full of people with our robe. We looked like an attraction. We have been in some SPA, where you have to walk from your room, from the outside, that's fine. But passing by the restaurant, that's a humiliating experience. Your slippers are wet on the way back. 39kr in tissus. First time ever i pay for slippers in a Spa. The Spa itself ? A large pool with some chairs and long chairs around. A what so called "Sauna", 3 saunas on another room. They have 3 kinda jacuzzy outside. The Kosta Boda hotel spa is thousand times more lovely. The staffs ? Yes, lets talk about it. During the diner, we got a menu. Like most of the spa, you take the 3 dinners meals. This menu was a mix of paid and included meals. The waitress, she didn't even explained us the menu. There were some drinks we could have take additionally, like most of 3 meals in such hotel spa, she said nothing. We did our choice, and like really embarrassing situation, she told us "this one you have to pay, that one you have to pay...", people watching us just on the side as we looked to be the TV show due to the arrangement of the tables. It's just like that. You feel having spectators during the entire diner due to the arrangement of the tables. The part i laughed the most, (despite the slippers), it's the bread. We asked for bread, and she told us "It's in the menu". Right. 55kr for a basket of 3 bread and some Knäckebröd that tasted like it was from the day before. Annoying. Honestly, i don't know about you, but myself, this is the first time ever that i pay for bread in a restaurant. Trust me, and i mean it, there are dozen better more cheaper spa hotel in Sweden ! We paid 4000 kr for one night ! (5000 kr with some baguette sandwich we never got and some bubble sparkling wine). Up to you, but for us : Never ever. Ridiculous.
