First of all we went 26th April and I was worried it wouldn’t be warm enough. IT WAS HOT! Between 24 and 28 degrees. I have a super tan. The temperature drops in the evening, a light jacket, sweater/hoodie is good. The resort is quiet with friendly staff. The place you go to relax and do very little. And very clean. I was looking for a self catering holiday. The bungalow is simple with a small kitchenette area alongside the sofa bed, and a small table and chairs, with basic appliances (microwave, fridge and 2 ring hob). And a down stairs toilet. The bedroom and bathroom is upstairs. Plus a table and chairs outside the ground floor balcony. Every bungalow has two sun lounges. And there are also sun lounges around the pool area. The staff keep the area clean and tidy. The life guard also makes sure the area is tidy too. The pool is cleaned every day. And you can ask for your room to be cleaned at your request. Towels are changed Sunday and Wednesdays. I’m sure if asked the reception would change on other days, everyone is so friendly. We walked to the main supermarket which is 20 mins away. There’s also a small supermarket on site. We cooked breakfast and lunch and ate out. There’s also restaurant and chill area on site. I went for my morning coffee and we had lunch there too. There’s a great Chinese Takeaway 10 mins walk away. I read the low scored comments before I went. And yes the pool is cold (aren’t most holiday pools?), and there is noise from the surrounding hotels in the evenings (sound usually does travel). But for most part the complex is totally quiet). The bus stop is across the road and will take you across the island including the airport (€4), we went to Playa de Ingles for €1.40. We walked to Melanores a couple of evenings. All in all I would highly recommend. I will revisit same time April next year, for a short break, I will use the bus (instead of shuttle at (£40 each), and will travel light, only need take a cabin bag next time which is included in flight price (flew the Ryanair and end up paying £80+ for extra cabin hand luggage (and that’s a whole other stressful story “ cabin hand luggage rules!!)”). This was what I consider a low budget holiday. In my opinion I got more than what I paid for.
