Ξενοδοχεία με Tomiyama, Matsushima

We have had the loveliest of stays here! It is a very friendly hotel, and it felt like an authentic modern Japanese experience. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were amazing, with lots of fresh fish and salads. We were travelling for a special birthday, and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! The onsen (sento) was quite an experience. It is separate for men and women, and has a beautiful outdoor pool with views over the bay, which is highly recommended! We had a Mountain View room, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. There is not really a bar to have pre-dinner drinks, but there is a gift shop which sells beer and wine to enjoy in your room. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d highly recommend it to all travellers!

First time using this. Look online and choose Sakura's room on the 4th floor. It was a trip to honor each other's hard work for many years on each other's 60th birthday. A satisfying dinner that I had without saving. After the meal, the hotel staff gave us a surprise celebration 💮 A wonderful performance at the timing when we were saying, “Let’s go back to our room soon” 🎇 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness. Thank you very much to all the friendly staff who took care of us. Next time I would like to use it with my family for 3 generations 😊

The guide in the building 〔 yellow laminate sheet placed on the table in the room is written as LO21:30. Other reservation sites have announced changes to business hours from April 14, and there is written as LO20:30. In fact, LO21:00. I know the reason for the corona countermeasure, but the guide should be unified. At least I thought it would be better to exchange the paper on the first table in the room.

First family trip after corona! I want to go to Matsushima in Japan three views, and I have a hotel with a strange name when I look for an inn, and I will see word of mouth and so on. I immediately called and had a plan to eat rice in the room. When I went to the day, the hotel on the slope, the parking lot was a bit diagonal and difficult to stop, but if the operation was more than average, there would be no problem. When you enter from the entrance, the front desk will be greeted and the temperature check and disinfection are urged, and the corona countermeasure is perfect👍When you enter the room with an explanation, it is surprised !!! The sea spreads in front of you and the view is amazing !!! I was really surprised by the name! The meal was very large and full, and Nakai's interesting story was blown out of the day 々 fatigue. I would like to stay again because I feel that there is a service that matches it. One thing that's unfortunate is that my wife said, not me, but a woman, Nakayoshi? It seems that he was carrying the other guests who had finished eating, and he was bent down diagonally while bent his neck, and he was bent his back, and it was very creepy and his face was masked, but he had a face like the end of this world I said I was. The room is very quiet and clean. It is located on the 7th floor of the main building, facing the street and overlooking the distance. I really like it! ! Although the area is small, the facilities are all available, and all have very warm and detailed tips. I am very touched! In addition, the two things that make me happiest are: First, when I checked in, the front desk worked hard and patiently to communicate with me. Here, I sincerely wish the two young staff members success in their work and a happy life! Second, the gifts sent by my friends were already intact in my room when I checked in. The room is very big, the garden view is very beautiful, and the service attitude is pretty good. Although it is not convenient to travel in the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus that runs once an hour, which is quite good. There are also taxis waiting at the door. Public transportation is also acceptable.

Lots to love in the town of Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture. 1.5 hours N of Tokyo, Sendai Shinkansen stop. This hotel was very conveniently located next to the local train station. Has elevator. Rooms fit 4 for sleeping on futon/tatami mats. Pluses: traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were worth the experience! Hot Spring/bath area was clean (older but ok). Rooms equipped with tea service and instructions. Very close to all the action in town. Coffee machine with cappuccino and espresso in lobby. Potential opportunities: absolutely no one speaks English. Pantomime and google translate resolved successfully. Serious minus of the hotel is the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, particularly common areas. Non smoking room not available. That all said, I’d stay there again for location and food. I’d open the window wider. Staff was delightful and very gracious.

The hotel is a kind of 2/3 star Ryokan, the owners are very kind, especially the lady running the hotel, she found somebody to take my luggage upstairs and back down when I was leaving. In fact the elevator is not in use.... BFast was not included in my plan, so I paid extra ,just a few hundred yens , I tried the japanese and the western BFast, both were average . The Ryokan is not new , but rooms are very spacious and they ressemblent more to a japanese flat, comparing with the surface of other hotels' rooms I had in Japan. The room was spotless .. There is also a hot bath at 3rd floor, where I went 2 times, smal but pleasant, I was the only user, at those times. I also had dinner at the hotel, in a nice Japanese style dining room ( where I had BF too ...), the menu is Korean , and had for the first time fried oysters from Matsushima bay.... The room was very quiet at night and I liked this japanese style type of rooms, I think I' d go there again , they also have a good quality/ price rate ...

It was an inn near Shin-Toyama, a mountain with a magnificent view. Rather, it's the only hotel in Korona-ka that has the largest capacity of any of the most closed accommodations, and is commendable on its own. In the plan I used, the price was less than 10,000 yen, but I was satisfied with everything. I've seen reviews after I got home, but it's not worth the criticism. I will tell you that the room, food, and customer service were all good enough to make you smile. Especially, the ”Hitomebore” rice was extremely delicious.
