One of the best hotel ever!! We can't wait to come back again when we come to Mauritius. Our room was so cozy, massive and nice. We really enjoyed our holiday here. The whole staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. We really want to thank the whole staff for making our stay so memorable as this was the first holiday trip with our baby:)

We had an amazing stay at Maritim Resort & Spa and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We got a warm welcome even though the front office was full of arrivals. Mrs Cherina took our luggage and guides us to a table and Mrs Kavita came to give us all the information. The unique animal farm was a highlight for our kids, they absolutely loved it. A special thanks to Mr Didier for being so helpful and making our visit enjoyable. Our room was exceptionally spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for our family. The buggy service was efficient and convenient for our kids. Mr Sanjeev the buggy driver assistance was greatly appreciated. Dining in the main restaurant was a delight, especially with the chef personally engaging with us, the restaurant was full Saturday which added a special touch to our meals with the service he provided. Although the bar was a bit crowded, the staff managed to deliver excellent service, ensuring we had a great experience. hats off to the waiters for their hard work and dedication. Despite the hotel being very full with demanding clients they consistently provided outstanding service.

We had a fantastic family stay at Maritim Resort and Spa. The rooms were spacious and clean, the amenities were great, and the staff provided exceptional service. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and appreciated the hotel's central location. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

went there 01-02 June,it was my birthday.We booked this hotel as it was a 5* star one.This was a terrible idea..We had many issues concerning buggy to move around.. There was no variety in the buffet.I told one of the staff that I didn't like anything in the lunch buffet, it was extra charges to get another meal. In one of the pool there was no towel being provided. One of the staff in front desk didn't had any manners, she was very harsh. she does not have any manners. some staff didn't even care to welcome or take any orders from local people. I had ruin my birthday weekend choosing this hotel. It was very disappointing for a 5* hotel.

We booked the hotel for the family of 4 adults and 1 toddler from 31 May 2024 to 02 June 2024. Upon arrival at the check in time of 16:00, the hotel lobby was very crowded and the check in process took very very long. After a long wait, we were finally handed over our room keys but were told to wait for the porter to bring us there along with our luggage. We waited for nearly 15-20 minutes but no porter in sight and the wait was unbearable for our toddler who wanted to roam around and have fun. Finally after a couple of times of asking, we had someone at the reception who agreed to show us our room and guaranteed us that the porter would arrive there directly with our luggage. We went in the room, settled down, amazing room with all necessary amenities by the way and we sat there waiting for our luggage to arrive. After about 30 minutes and various unattended calls to reception, our luggage was still not here, so we decided to do a mini hotel tour by ourselves with our toddler to make her happy. On the way, we passed by the reception and told them that our luggage was still lying there and we were told that the porter was still busy with other guests and he'd bring our luggage later when we returned to our room. This was finally done around 1 hour later but i really find it unacceptable that we could not even access the luggage and had to wait to change our toddler's clothes and finally she wanted to use the pool so much but couldn't as by the time our luggage finally arrived, it was already dark and too cold for her to go in. Overall service at the Belle Vue Restaurant was ok but very slow as the amount of waiters very scarce as compared to the amount of clients in the hotel. Furthermore, some waiters do not understand or know the drinks available and we were served the wrong order twice during dinner. The buffet offers a nice variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there are chefs attending to the various stations. On the next day, we woke up at 7am and went for a walk before breakfast and at around 7:45, the breakfast area is not very crowded so we had time to settle down and enjoy our breakfast with waiters walking past everytime. We then went to the pool area and our toddler enjoyed the kids pool and we spent the morning there. We then had lunch and came back to our room at around 14hrs as our toddler wanted to have a nap but surprisingly, no one came to the room for cleaning and everything was still same as it was before. So we relaxed in our room until 16hrs and still no housekeeping done. We then had to go to reception once again as no one was picking up any of our calls and requested that our room was tidied up or at least fresh towels brought in as our toddler made a mess of towels in the bathtub the night before. Again, slow service and we had to wait until 18:30 to receive towels to be able to shower and get ready. Thank you for giving us a Phenomenal Honeymoon Well, where do I start? We visited Maritim Resort & Spa for 2 weeks in May for our Honeymoon, what can I say! THE best two weeks at this amazing resort. We flew direct with BA, and upon arrival at the Maritim after a long travel day, our cases were taken and we were presenting with a lovely drink and cold towel. Very spacious Deluxe Plus room (Room 434) (We had booked a Deluxe, but the Hotel quietly upgraded us which was lovely) this was a fantastic room with a Sea View. Lots of space, an amazingly comfy bed, large shower and free standing bath, walk in wardrobe and a lounge area. Lovely touch of a free hat, wine, fruit and flowers too. The grounds are absolutely stunning! We passed beautiful gardens and flowers. Maritim have a well looked after Animal Sanctuary for Horses, Dogs, Rabbits, and some amazing Turtles from the Seychelles. We passed a staff member along the way and he was more than happy to spend some time with us, discussing the welfare of the animals, the history of the hotel and so forth. We did comment that it is such a shame that the access to the beautiful waterfalls could be a little tricky for some people and they would miss out on seeing something so good on the actual grounds of the hotel! You do have to “Scramble” across some large rocks / foliage, if you did have mobility issues this would be an issue. Also, it is not signposted well, so you almost have to listen to the noise of the falls to find it. Definitely something for the hotel to consider in our opinion. We visited the Spa and had a couples massage, this was very nice and we would recommend. We spent every day on resort at the Beach, we would also recommend water shoes too. We had some fantastic days Snorkelling and seen an array of fish. Even seen a couple of Lion Fish (BEWARE!) We tried the Kayak’s, Paddle Board and Pedallo, these were all free. The gentleman down the boathouse were great. Boats might need a little upgrade in the not too distant future but were perfectly fine and lifejackets provided. We also made use of the free glass bottom boat ride, you book this at the boat house and lasts an hour. I would give 24-48 hours’ notice as it does get booked up, Every time we picked a knife and fork up, the quality of food and service was exceptional, apart from probably one, we really enjoyed the Lobster night, although this was payable but well worth it. The Buffet restaurant was really good with lots of choice and everything was Hot. La Maree was AMAZING, and by far our favourite. The BBQ restaurant was a nice change with great quality if a little short of choice. Unfortunately the one and only time we visited the Asian, this was not to our liking. The Food was “Ok” but not a patch on any of the other places in our opinion. We did the Romantic meal on the beach for 995 Rupees. A 5 star experience! We had a great time and the staff were so friendly and helpful which helped to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made so much effort to make us feel welcome and special. Particular thanks to Kavita, Thierry and Rakesh. The rooms were large, clean and air conditioned with minibar, tea/coffee making facilities. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, with soft sandy beaches, a golf course, gym, bars and restaurants. All the meals were superb whether it's the casual buffet or a la carte restaurants. We will definitely come back!
