Group of 7 on a motorcycle tour of Ireland for one night 4 of the party were in the main building of the hotel Myself and 2 others were in the apartment which is next door but 2, 30 second walk away The apartment is a detached 2 story building that has been renovated to a high standard en suite rooms, kitchen and a little lounge Plenty of parking The beds were very comfortable and the whole place, despite being on a main road, was very quiet Ate at the Newfield Inn in the evening. Food was very good, the steak ciabatta sandwich had really good quality meat Our food was brought to our table by a robot....it works :-) Bar was cosy and busy, like an old type bar Theresa (hope I got the spelling right) dealt with our check in. Was exceptional when having to sort out 7 tired guest filling the reception and got us all sorted out. Great customer service John, the owner, was about. Nice guy Another hotel on this trip that I definitely be returning to

While staying in Mulranny for a week with friends, we visited Nevins on Sunday evening without a reservation, but we were accommodated within 15 minutes, the wait was so worth it. They had a full gluten free menu for one of our party with plenty to choose from. The food was delicious, the manager and staff were helpful, polite and knew their menu. Nevins was such a good experience that we returned on the Thursday evening with a party of six and again it was excellent. Marian Wilson

This place is a gem! It was recommended to us by the great guys up in the new Irish American Whiskey Distillery in Achill and it was well worth the trip off the island. We love shellfish & chowder and regularly order it in places known for theirs. Nevins however took it to another level. They are rightly proud of their ability to source high quality local Clew Bay oysters, mussels & clams. Every dish that passed us from the kitchen looked excellent from the steak, to traditional fish & chips (lovely light batter) to a delicious sweet chilli chicken filo salad. To top the night we got to chat with owner John who was a delight. Nevins was excellent value for money.

I had the most wonderful time. The food was always excellent and fantastic prices for the quality and quantity. The staff are always very pleasant helpful. I stayed 3 days, My room was spotless clean and modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. I can’t wait to return, so many places to visit. A big hello to Claire, Pat,John and Gerry for the chats.

Had dinner here with family over the Easter Holidays. The food was fantastic and the staff super friendly and very helpful. The robot servers were a great hit with the kids. The owner John visited everyone to see how everything was which was a very nice touch. There was music in the lounge later in the evening and they catered for everyone. They even encouraged people to get up and sing a few tunes. I would highly recommend Nevin’s if you are ever passing by. They also have accommodation if you wish to stay over.

Lovely location, spotlessly clean, efficient friendly staff, great choice on menu and food delicious. Stayed at The Lodges behind Mulranny Hotel and drove to Nevins on two evenings as food, service and atmosphere so good and will be back again the next time we are in the area

Very impressed by the NEVINS, we were at a wedding at a nearby hotel and stayed here for two nights. John, the owner was so helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant (served by Bella the robot). John took us to the venue and picked us up afterwards.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff who accommodated our request for a room change with no questions. Comfortable beds and amenities. Quiet room. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. Excellent chowder.
