Beautiful and Quiet .. Beds so Comfortable and so clean .well done .. Breakfast lovely and fresh.. staff are friendly the girl on reception was so helpful and friendly definitely return again .It's so central in Cong and beside the quiet man cottage fab M J G Galway

The staff here are amazing and so friendly. It starts with the boss Steven and his wife, John, Clhlodha, kirsten, Annette and the breakfast staff. The breakfast staff were very understanding and helped me bring breakfast to the room as my wife was recovering from a broken ankle. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

Excellent staff,Excellent food,Lovely dining area with a great atmosphere,Food is worth every penny and is amazing quality,Cong is a lovely place to go visit,always a great atmosphere in the village too,Would recommend to everyone from families to couples. Cannot wait to return!

Amazing service from the hotel staff, lovely clean hotel, great location and great food 💕 we had a tea great night there, brilliant value for money 💰 I’d definitely go back! It’s a small hotel, but very friendly.

The room -furniture is old fashioned, the carpet with stamps and we couldn't sleep as there was music and noise from the restaurant till late in the night. The next morning the view from our window was the bags with garbage from the previous night.The breakfast nothing special at all.

We had our wedding in Lydons this weekend with 115 guests. We also had our day 2 barbecue there as well and to say the weekend was flawless would be an understatement. Staff 100%, food 100%, atmosphere 1,000%! Couldn’t fault them in any area. All of our guests were amazed with the venue. Olga and Stephen were a godsend to work with. I wouldn’t be great at event planning but Olga took control and directed me at ever turn. She made the decisions when I couldn’t. For any future brides that feel overwhelmed, lost or unsure, Lydons is the place for you. Olga in particular will put you at easy and guide you through the process. They also went above and beyond with any children involved. They are the best example of a family run business. If I could give this place 20/10 I would. I couldn’t speak higher of them and the staff. PHENOMENAL ❤️

This was in an excellent location as we wanted to stay in the Village of Cong. We had a large airy bedroom, comfortable bed and a recently refurbished bathroom with a large walk in shower. The breakfast was great quality, with a choice that all visitors would be happy with. The management team and all the staff were lovely. It has live evening musical entertainment in the bar at the weekends through the season which was enjoyed by guests and locals alike. The hotel restaurant is open for lunch and dinner so you don’t really have to go anywhere else as the food is excellent. However, if you need to be up early and are a light sleeper take some earplugs as the music and audience can be quite loud and on until 1 or 2 in the morning at the weekends.

Pub had good food and service, excellent breakfast options. Room a bit dated but very comfortable. Excellent bed. If you are a light sleeper, Room 23 may not be ideal for you as it overlooks the terrace and can be a bit noisy.

Stayed at Lydons Lodge & it was Fantastic, the food & standard of the accommodation were excellent + the staff were really great & helpful, they could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. The new design & lay out are fantastic, well done to everybody. You are guaranteed a great stay !!!
