WoodSpring Suites McKinney

So far ive stayed here 3 different times , this time i was asked for a deposit ,all the other times i wasn't, I think its because of the last time i stayed ,the key was lost in the laundry, I was charged 10$ for a new key and was ridiculed from the night person for missplacing the key like a child and must of put something under my name for future reference , when asked why i was needing a deposit, the GM said for incendentles , I asked what are these incendentels ,she said internet , I said but the internet is free with stay, she quickly said this is what all the hotels do, I said ive been here 3 times now , both the other times i wasnt charged , she said that they didnt have training on the proper protocols , I said are you the one that should be training them , she said yes, then i said If you did your job right , I wouldnt be asking you all these questions because your employees would of already told me about a deposit, she slammed my key on the counter and yelled the room number at me , very rude lady , will be the last time i stay there

Driving up to the place I immediately noticed alot of the kind of sketchy men you don’t want to be around, all around the building. I go in and the lady at the front is watching the surveillance cameras while also trying to tend to us. She was extremely nice and helpful, and also motioned things for my protection during the check in process which wasn’t a great feeling, because the guys behind me in the building were eating me alive with their stares. Okay so walking through the hallway you’re met with different bad smells including ****. Our room smelled horrible and musty but overall was clean. It felt like we stayed at a stinky halfway house for men. We paid online and it was non refundable. We needed something on the cheaper end (paid 75). We just stayed and had to be up and out very early anyways and just told ourselves, it’s a place to sleep.

The bathroom and bed were dirty and front desk lets anyone in so be careful. This is probably not the hotel for you.

We only stayed one night. Our experience was good and we would probably stay there again.

I called the hotel to let them know I would be arriving around 10 or 11 pm and asked if that was ok. I was told either someone would be on site, or that I could dial 500 from the phone in the "lobby" and someone would answer. This did not happen. Nobody answered. I was unable to even get my room that I booked and had to find another place to stay for the night.

Cecilia the manager was very accommodating and tried her best to help but as for the hotel the room was not cleaned sheets had crumbs on them there was a bug seen in the bathroom which was also not cleaned My family and I were not happy with our room and will not be staying there again We give Cecilia two thumbs up but the hotel two thumbs down

Terrible. The property stink as soon as you walk in, same as the rooms. Elevator smelled like **** and when it open there was a staff lady in it smelling same as soon as she walked out, smell vanish a little. Beds were very uncomfortable and it was very loud all night long. I had stay at a Woodspring before and was alot better than this location

The interment was really slow kept losing connection. The assistant manager Cecelia was wonderful kept a eye on my girls.. I would say when guess use a third party and want to extend they should be able to With the third party rate and not have to pack up checkout at 11 then wait until 3 to check back in and then bring all there belongings back in to get the same room. That was very inconvenient

It a no frills kind of place, which I like. I don't need towel service every day and just a place to sleep and shower. In that respect it was good. Evidently the floors are very thin because I could hear every step the person staying above me made. The finish on the outside of the refrigerator was coming off and they really should replace it. The one other thing that was inconvenient was the toilet....I have no idea why anyone puts in round instead of elongated toilets anymore!
