The most amazing staff ever, especially Ciara, Trish, Pierce and the two Caroline's! I honestly would love to name all the staff but they were amazing. The beds are so comfy, the breakfast was beautiful and the dinner was perfect. I am so happy that I had the experience to stay here and I recommend it for a weekend away or definitely a wedding!

It had been a few years since we dined at the Station House. On parking the car we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and glimpses of the charming setting, twinkling lights and impressive grounds inviting us in. A warm welcome, drink in the bar, old world charm with relaxed vibes started off our evening. We are in the restaurant and dinner menu was very much to our taste. Lots to choose from. Starters of scallops, pork, followed by fillet beef and salmon and we shared a delicious lemon slice desert. Ordered wines by the glass, all perfect pairings. Service was excellent and a lively atmosphere in the restaurant too. We finished with another drink and a wander in the gardens. Witnessed a very joyous first dance in the woods for the wedding party that was on while we were there. Can’t wait to return. Himself had a pre dinner pint of Guinness in the local bar Fergies, hit the door too , worth a visit. Highly recommend the station house for a couples dinner. Thanks to all the staff there for a fabulous evening.

We had Afternoon tea booking for a 70th birthday celebration. Everyone was delighted, plentiful food which was so fresh & tasty (scones fresh from the oven), unlimited tea/coffee. Good value for money. Stunning setting & helpful staff. Would highly recommend!

An absolute gem. The structure is incredibly charming, made even more so by the atmosphere, including fireplaces and music. They lent us bikes so we could visit the nearby Hill of Tara (the whole area is beautiful), and then served a delayed tea to accommodate our afternoon bike ride. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We had an early departure and the cook packaged up some scones for the drive. The staff (including one of the owners) couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. Can't really recommend this place more highly, especially if you're visiting Tara or Newgrange nearby.

An overdue visit for Sunday lunch. Pianist playing during lunch which was a nice touch. Staff are all very professional and well turned out in really nice uniform, all very knowledgeable & friendly. Super choice for lunch in either the bar or restaurant….food really tasty & well presented. A good pint of Guinness too. Great service from Emmet & 2 young bartenders. I recommend to book for Sunday lunch as it’s always busy. Look forward to visiting for dinner soon.

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone should visit! Superb value! The best food and service! Beautiful unique venue with highly skilled and friendly staff. Smokies have to be tried, wine menu offers great value and some tasty numbers! Highly recommend

A very charming hotel. Perfect for a romantic weekend...or an afternoon tea...the staff could not be more helpful. The receptionists are very welcoming...a sense of purpose ...the gardens and the bedrooms are immaculately kept. The restaurant oozes old charm. Perfect for a small wedding...

I booked a night away for myself and my three friends. We had such a lovely night away. The station house hotel is a fab place to stay. Could not find a fault with any aspects of our stay. Fabulous food Comfy beds lovely background music through the hotel . A special mention to Jennifer, Erica, Cian and Anna who catered to our every need. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

I booked an overnight break for my parents for my mum’s birthday. They had a lovely stay, beautiful hotel, great food and very welcoming staff - special shout out to Suzanne at reception - nothing was too much trouble. Mum and dad said they can’t wait to return! Thanks for making it a special birthday.
