Hotel Estadio Real

Previous rating suggested the property was not particularly clean. It was OK for me (rm 402). Lots of cars and motor bikes roaring by and even with windows closed was very noisy, well through the night. I changed hotels and though there seemed to be less racing, it was still noisy. This was my first time to Medellin in a while so maybe it just takes a bit of getting used to. I imagine the higher end hotels are quieter. There is AC so it was not uncomfortable.

When I got to the front desk, it was raining outside and also inside. I waited to be attended but someone came in later and got attended before me after I was waiting for so long. And after such a long flight. When I got to the room, it was obvious that the hygiëne was not a priority. I could smell musty odor of mold and not being cleaned properly. The bed mattress was in a plastic packaging and then covered with the bed linen. So when I was on the bed, every time I moved, I heard the crinkling sound of the plastic. It was seriously uncomfortable. The fridge was plugged out when I got to the room. The airco was off and the remote to turn it on was faulty. The hair dryer didn’t work. I could not iron my clothes because there wasn’t one in my room. Very noisy neighborhood and it doesn’t help that there is an opening in the window that stays open. Next to noise, there was also a cockroach that managed to get into the bedroom via the opening. The door knob to the room was very flimsy. There was no extra lock to lock the door when inside. I did not feel safe. There was also no Safe to put my valuables in when I wasn’t there. The list goes on. I was glad to have warm water available. I can’t believe this hotel is listed on *******. I’m so disappointed.

We had to book this hotel last minute due to unplanned changes in our flights. I booked, but had to cancel that same day 3 hours later (unforeseen changes in travel plans). It was pay at the property and my credit card was not supposed to be charged prior to arrival. ********** said at minimum I’d be charged one night. I was charged the whole amount. Numerous attempts were made to rectify the situation by ********** since it was booked and cancelled through them. I can’t speak to the quality of the actual hotel, but I was definitely unhappy with the customer service, and being out $$$. 👎

The worst Colombian hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It listed that breakfast was included, but their dining room was closed, probably due to COVID. So they would send out for breakfast and give it to you in a styrofoam box. The air conditioner didn’t really work so it was really hot in the room. When we came back at the end of our second day we were surprised they had not cleaned the room. When I mentioned it, I was told if I wanted that I should have left the key at reception when I left for the day. The towels were small and thin and only two of them total. Lastly the doors no longer fit the frames and you had to pound on them to get them to shut. There are plenty of much nicer hotels in that block. You should avoid this one

Staff rude

El hotel está bastante bien, la zona tranquila y las habitaciones aceptables. Pero el personal es muy poco agradable y el trato al cliente pésimo sobretodo en el comedor, el desayuno escaso, frío, y las chicas fueron horrible te maleducadas con comentarios muy desacertados. Éramos 7 personas en familia y la verdad nos ha decepcionado muchísimo el personal del hotel en general. Muy a la cola del trato al cliente.

Una experiencia muy desagradable. El desuyuno limitado, las camas duras, el cuerto en mal estado stado, cortinas sucias, baño pequeño e incomodo. En mi estadia, en el cuarto de al lado hubo 3 noches q no nos dejaron dormir, pq llegaban borrachos, haciendo escándalo y has vomitando y la gerencia del hotel.nunca hizo nada al respecto. Muy mala experiencia. NO LO RECOMIENDO

Todo bien menos los Matrres y las almohadas llegue con un espasmo a mi país son demasiado de duras casi ni pude descansar !! Jamás me hospedaría de nuevo !! Horrible ni un día me quedaría fue muy mala la experiencia!!

Este hotel es agradable, bien ubicado, en un barrio tranquilo, el desayuno es aceptable, lo único que debe tener en cuenta es el parqueadero es muy pequeño y es probable q toque parquear en la calle, se recomienda
