Aegean Suites

Had a lovely chilled week. You cannot fault the young staff they are so mature and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble if you wanted anything special they would accommodate. The rooms are very well presented with room service daily, Thank you guys for a lovely stay. Pete and Liz 👌

Myself and hubby stayed in the heaven suite June 23 for two weeks. The room itself was lovely with a separate sitting room and bedroom with a very large balcony with a sunken jacuzzi. It was such a lovely space to relax just the two of us. It is one of the highest rooms so 127 steps from pool side to room which you need to take into consideration if staying in this room. What struck me with this hotel is ALL the staff without exception were amazing. They all went to so much trouble to make you feel welcome and to accommodate your requests with a smile always readily available and time taken to have a chat with you too. Breakfast was lovely with freshly prepared dishes and a lovely selection of drinks to go with it too. Cleanliness was on point with the rooms cleaned daily and jacuzzi maintained on a daily basis. As it was my husbands birthday during our stay we treated ourselves to private dining on the beach at the Aegeans sister hotel The Princess. The experience was fantastic from first contact via email prior to the holiday to the service on the day. The food was wonderful and again the staff went out of their way to create a friendly and warm environment but still giving us our privacy to enjoy this romantic moment. Our hotel was in the perfect position for the main town which you could walk too within 20 minutes or catch the bus if you preferred. We found a few absolute gems for food over our two weeks and found the food to be reasonably priced. Would we go back? Yes no doubt we would definitely go back to this hotel and to the heaven suite. I highly recommend Skiathos and this particular hotel - thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful - Katherine and paul xx

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, with a seaview. The staff was reactive and friendly. The swimming-pool area is very nice, with a bar and restaurant around it. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Skiathos which is much quieter, but a good 20 mins walk away with no free shuttle from the hotel, which is a bit surprising for a 5 star hotel. At first, we were disappointed by the beach - it is just accross the street, but the hotel has no private part with sunbeds... and the beach and sea are crowded and not very clean ! Fortunately, the hotel provides a very good alternative by booking a free shuttle for the guests every morning taking you to the Princess Resort hotel 20 mins away. It has a wonderful sandy beach with sunbeds, towels, a swimming-pool and a beach bar and a restaurant. You just have to take the shuttle back to the hotel at 4 p.m. We had a wonderful time there. We would like to mention that the à la carte breakfast is very good, but it is not a very convenient way to start the day because you cannot help yourself and you have to wait until you are being served. Perhaps a buffet would be more convenient and quicker for the guests. All in all, we recommend the Aegean Suites hotel if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and nice stay in Skiathos.

Absolutely amazing! As if the complimentary breakfast, delicious hand crafted cocktails and gorgeous rooms with amazing views wasn't enough the staff at Aegean Suites were one of a kind. They stopped at nothing to make sure our stay was perfect and stress free. No task was too big, even when we had a passport go missing. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing hospitality and endless suggestions. I have already suggested this amazing spot to friends and family and cannot wait to return myself!

I’ve you are wondering whether to book with them or not. Don’t question it! This hotel was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in Greece. The the staff is even better. They are the most attentive to whatever needs you have. The view from the rooms, the pool, the seating area all stunning! The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The town is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute ride. There are a couple super markets even closer. There is one bus stop going either way that is maybe 3 minutes by foot. Would recommend to anyone I know! Thank you Aegean Suites for an amazing stay!

We stayed for a week in May - the same week as “Marsdudly” we couldn’t disagree more with his rambling illiterate review- whose comments about certain staff members are extremely harsh!! We found ALL members of staff Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious. The sun beds around the pool were comfy and plentiful. The views from the well furnished and equipped suites were to die for!! It was a short walk into Skiathos town, where restaurants to cater for all budgets were available. This place is perfect for a restful stay - a little piece of Greek Heaven- it was just what we needed! Thank you! We will be back. Helen & Di

I am horribly overdue in writing this review having stayed here early September. The minute I stepped outside this hotel I was blown away.. We were greeted by a member of staff who took our bags and led us up to reception. Given it is quite a steep entrance we were very happy, relieved and impressed! Checking in was so pleasant (glass of homemade lemonade provided) and efficient and then our bags were carried all the way up to our room (206) which was no mean feat as that is quite a lot of steps. Our suite was fabulous and I declared within minutes of stepping in that I was now ruined for all future holiday as they all needed to be like this! Everything you need, a huge wonderfully comfortable bed, large wardrobe space, good sized comfy sofa and a good, well stocked bathroom. And immaculately clean. We loved it. The pool is fabulous with plenty of beds.. we never had a worry about getting a sunbed (though some people still felt the need to put their belongings down first thing and then disappear for ages) . The bar was well stocked - I can highly recommend the house wines ;-) (they are actually produced by the hotel company who have a vineyard now!) and the bar food was delicious. All the staff are SO helpful, interesting and very friendly.. Konstantina was someone who I spent most time chatting with and she was super helpful in finding out little nuggets of information for me based on whatever we chatted about! It's a pleasant 15-20mins walk into Skiathos town (via the beach) and there are a couple of decent supermarkets about 150 - 200 mtrs away. Also well worth getting the shuttle over to the sister hotel to enjoy the stunning beach there. Storm Daniel hit us 3 days after we had arrived - actually on the day of my partners birthday.. .who ironically is called Daniel. The staff were quite utterly outstanding throughout that horrendous and at times, quite frightening weather. They never stopped trying to help - providing us all with umbrellas, keeping us informed, smiling & staying positive, ensuring we had food and drink - even keeping up the room service which meant getting up all those stairs in torrential rain (they came up in two's so one could hold a large umbrella). They even arranged for a bottle of wine to be sent to our room for Dan's birthday. We may not have ever eaten in the restaurant had we not been under curfew and in terrible weather but I'm glad we did. The food is SUPERB. I had the best octopus I've ever eaten, in any country or restaurant! I really will be returning to this hotel as it was, even with the storm, one of the best stays I have ever had. We have just returned from a wonderful fortnight on the island of Skiathos, staying at the Aegean Suites. It is a fabulous small hotel with around 20 suites, which means that one can really get to know the place and its staff. Our suite was comfortable, spacious and well appointed, with a balcony providing superb views of the beautiful Aegean and surrounding islands. But what made it for us was the Manager Konstantina and her lovely staff. We cannot mention them all by name but a special thanks goes to Eleni and 'Jimmy' for being such fun. The swimming pool, sunbeds, outside bar and breakfast area were superb. The advice given to us about the many brilliant tavernas was spot on and meant that we enjoyed the best of the excellent local hospitality. Well done and thank you. Nick & Judy

Lovely small hotel in a great location easily walkable to Skiathos town. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. We were disappointed that the decor and condition of the property wasn't up to the standards of the photos on the website, which make the hotel come across as chic and modern - it has more of a boutique feel in reality, and was run down in places eg damaged furniture and mould on the grouting of the tiles. Breakfast was excellent, all freshly made to order and very generous portions. The lunch and dinner menus are fairly restricted but there are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk to choose from. A lovely place to stay but 4* at best, missing the little touches that would make it a really good 5*
