Gästehaus Alt Mehring

First I apologize for not having given full five points - the reason is not to be found from any features of this great boarding house - it is simply that I try to save five points to totally outstanding experiences. We came by bicycles: the place was easy to find and they had an excellent storage room for bikes. The day was hot and we were rather exhausted after cycling: it was nice to relax after the shower by reading a book on the small balcony. BtW even if it was a hot day and the boarding house did not have air conditioning the room of ours was not too warm. Our room had all the essential things and it was nice enough - and very tidy. That is good, but not that different from other boarding houses and small hotels in the area: the things that made this to be an excellent choice was the relaxed and super friendly service as well as the breakfast which was superb (for the size of the establishment the variety was wide and, more importantly, the selection that they has was if high quality with fresh berries etc.). The price quality ratio is excellent! I recommend this boarding house!
