Crane Creek Inn Waterfront B&B

My wife and I have stayed in B&Bs from Maine to Key West. We love them all ! CCI is immaculate! Exactly like the photos. But it isn't your traditional B&B where one is usually greeted upon arrival (they have a no-contact check-in so you need your cell phone!) and the biggest difference....the kitchen is fully stocked with many breakfast goodies - including daily fresh eggs from the chickens located in the backyard coop. Even waffle/pancake mix, and various bagels and English muffins. All to make yourself. The fresh eggs are superb! And it's a self-cleaning kitchen....just drop your dirty stuff in the dishwasher. The other thing that caught us by surprise is the TV streams HULU...as indicated in their literature. Sadly, we weren't familiar with HULU but after some trial and error, I got it figured out.... It was March Madness! LOL... The pool was excellent always heated to 80deg, has kayaks to use(no-cost), and during our stay, the owners stopped by and they are very nice. We stayed in the Heron room...King-size bed, private screened porch on the second floor with a beautiful view of Crane Creek. The only not-so-nice thing is that the B&B is located not too far from RR tracks and of course, the trains run at night. BUT they have a sound machine in the room and even offer earplugs for the very light sleeper. Wasn't an issue. This is definitely a return B&B!

My husband and I had a relaxing weekend getaway. The Dolphin suite had it all! Fully eqiuped kitchen, cozy sit in area and King bed. My favorite feature is the riverside deck. We watched a small gator swim by and they mullet jumping. We would highly recommend.

This was an awesome relaxing stay! The owners heart is reflected in every corner of this property. The attention to detail of amenities & cleanliness is such that rates the 5 stars. I travel for a profession, & I felt no detail was left unmet. The setting is a perfect balance of nature, with the historical district with all the restaurants & shops just steps away. The response time if needed is almost immediate. I have no doubt your stay will be a relaxing & memorable one. I am grateful for my stay & very happy I selected this property. They also have a few others, & I have no doubt the same care abounds with their others.

Stayed for 4 nights in the Manatee Suite during son’s Florida Tech orientation & could not have been more pleased. This is such a quaint hidden gem of an oasis - peaceful, private water views yet in the most convenient of locations. It’s right around the corner from the Historic Downtown Melbourne district, beach is just over the bridge & less than 2 miles to campus. Thoughtful, colorful decor + a host of amenities: private pool, kayaks, fishing rods, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, covered picnic tables, flattop grill & more. Tremendous value!

Beautiful inn, well located. We loved the water view of the Dolphin Suite. The amenities were fine quality as were the sheets, towels, soaps. The unit was furnished with everything you need for a few nights away!

We stayed in the Mangrove room and the NOISE from the TRAINS was terrible. VERY LOUD freight trains blow their horns every hour or so ALL NIGHT LONG. The room itself is small and dumpy. It is filled with outdated furniture that doesn’t function well at all. Many of the drawers can’t even be opened. The descriptions of this property are very misleading. It is described as a bed and breakfast, but our room did not include breakfast. Also, the prices shown in Google and trip advisor do not include the cleaning fee and other fees from airbnb that are added on. Positives: the room was clean. The view is lovely. The private patio with chairs were nice. We liked being able to walk to nearby restaurants. The bed was comfortable.

The inn is great and Mark and Meghan were absolutely amazing helping me surprise my husband with a romantic set on our outside porch up to celebrate our anniversary! Waterfront views, beautiful, clean rooms! Highly recommend!

Our second visit and hope to be back again next year! We are beach people so we love that Mark provides 2 beach chairs and beach towels in each unit. The beautiful beach is an easy 12 minute drive. After a day at the beach, it is so nice to come back to a lovely yard, pool, water views, and kayaks to get out on the water with dolphins and manatees. Town is a 5 minute walk away with plenty of restaurants and breweries. With only 6 units (3 in the main house with access to common kitchen) and 3 other units around the pool, it is a quiet and relaxed stay. Mark and Meghan are personable, accessible, and do everything to make sure their guests’ needs are met. I highly recommend Cranes Creek as the perfect place to decompress.

This place is absolutely fabulous. Not only is the property amazing, but its proximity to town for shopping and dining is incredible. The property is clean and beautiful, and the owners are totally accessible and very helpful. Everyone at the property is so welcoming and friendly. The option of having a bed and breakfast with access to the house or a true airbnb experience is yours to decide. Either way, it's amazing. If you're getting away to relax, this is the place for you. We have been coming here for years and thoroughly enjoy our stay each and every time. See you next year!!
