Beach Club Menorca

Excellent location with breathtaking view of the beautiful beach below. Winding down to end the season so very chilled. Staff everywhere on site very friendly. Spotlessly clean apartment and all public spaces. Food was good for the money. Not worth paying extra though for half board plus as drinks available very basic.

If it wasn't for the location then I would mark it don't further. Nice little shop, restaurant 'ok' friendly enough staff. On arrival after travelling since the early hours we were made to wait until 3pm telling us that the room wasn't ready, even though she admitted the hotel was only 75% full. Room smelt damp, was damp and everything smelt after a few days there. Damp marks on the walls, furniture old and damaged, coat rack hanging off the wall and plug sockets hanging off the wall. Room was cleaned everywhere day. Menorca and the cove, sea etc was absolutely beautiful though.

We stayed (12 and 14 year olds with mum and gran) in two sea view suites which were really lovely. The suites are newly decorated in neutral colours and include a small fridge, a kettle, a coffee maker, glasses and mugs. You can hire stand up paddle boards just outside the hotel for €16 and hour via an app, or hire pedalos for €20 and hour or kayaks for €18 and hour at the beach. The beach is closer than it looked on the pictures I'd seen and was beautiful, with pink sand and shallow waters. The pool is huge and there are always sun loungers available. The supermarket is 1 min walk from the pool for cold drinks and lunches or there is the pool bar if you don't mind paying. The pool bar cocktails were lovely! The buffet was hot and the variety good. The paella and the ice cream were favourites. The breakfast was particularly good (especially the fresh eggs, omelettes, and pancakes). The hotel let us swap our evening meal for lunch any day and we just had to let them know at breakfast that morning. The restaurant next to the hotel has beautiful sea views with good cocktails and OK food. For a really lovely meal I'd recommend a taxi ride to Fornells ($16 one way) and head to La Pescador for their seafood stew. We walked to BJs pub one night (about 10-15 mins) for live music and a game of pool - it was a good night out. We had a few issues with the air conditioning and with the shower blocking but they were fixed as soon as we reported them (well the air conditioning in the living room continued not to work so they offered to move us but we chose to stay so that's on us). Also, to set the safe it's '000' not 'R' like the instructions say. Overall, for the price I don't think you can do better than this lovely hotel and the sea views are simply amazing! Would definitely go back.

We are currently staying here and what a great stay it's been!!! We have opted for self catering this year for ourselves and outlander 13 Yr old daughter - the pool is fab - all different depths - never a problem getting a sunbed as we are so close to the beach there's always a space round the pool or at the beach! We are staying in a one bedroom apt which is fab - has everything you need to self cater, beds are comfy - air con in the main living areas as well as in the separate bedroom 😀 We dined at Mellousa (the restaurant overlooking the beach) great food - reasonably priced. I would say hiring a car is a must do so you can visit lots of different places - we've had a trip into Mahón, Arenal De Castell beach - both great days out - highly recommend BJ's pub a 3 min drive away, Great food and drink, footy on TV, pool table, bingo and quiz night - great entertainment Was dubious after seeing some negative reviews before we came but we've had a great time and wanted to write an honest review. We haven't dined at the buffet restaurant so can't comment on food but have had lunch at the pool bar which was very good and the supermarket on site is very well equipped 😍

Our 3rd stay at this hotel. So glad we were able to stay in a Suite this time, due to the addition of a fridge (needed for medication). The fridge, coffee machine and kettle all welcome additions to the Suites. We were so happy with the room, it was clean, decorated lovely, large comfortable bed, with the addition of the most beautiful view. Room was cleaned to a high standard daily and towels changed if needed. All staff work hard in all areas. Beautiful gardens. We loved our stay and will return again. Just some minor things - some lighting needed in the car park, food could be hotter in buffet and there was no weekly menus up this year in the foyer of the buffet area. Also, disappointed chef wasn’t cooking to order this year at breakfast. Omelettes, eggs and pancakes were ready made on hot plates. WiFi has been hugely updated since our stay in 2023, had no problem this year. All suites have a beach sea view. We have stayed here 3 times, in a standard sea view room and, this stay, in a Suite. The rooms were impeccably clean and had been decorated and updated since last year. They are functional and have everything you need. The rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels if required. The buffet breakfast and evening buffet was superb, with beer, rose/ white wine served as well as soft drinks. All the staff at this hotel work incredibly hard to ensure you have a nice stay with good friendly vibes. There is a lovely pool area with a pool bar serving drinks:snacks. Steps take you down to the gorgeous beach. There is a small well stocked supermarket on site with freshly baked bread daily. We just couldn’t fault the location for us. The resort is very quiet with a handful of restaurants about 10-15 min walk, up hill coming back. We hire a car but there is a bus service at hotel. If you are staying in a standard room you will have the addition of a small kitchen, 2 electric cooker rings, microwave, kettle, sink and crockery etc (no tea towel so take a tea towel)

If you have any difficulties with walking don't go here. Never been to a place with so many steps.the room itself was OK but had to ask for clean towels after 4 days. The food in the onley 2 restaurants was not very good to say the least.the alacart restaurant was a joke. Paid 18 euros for a hamburger. If you want to lie in sun all day and not have a decent choice of restaurants at night this is for you. For the money we paid expected more. Honestly we were glad to leave after two weeks.
