Rocca di Arignano

My wife found this wonderful Hotel while searching Trip Advisor for 3-days in Piemonte. Situated about 30 minutes away from Torino, you are anywhere between 30 min to an hour from Piemonte wine spots like Barolo, La Morra, etc. It’s a castle! Rocca di Arignano is a small castle with a medieval look inside and out. It also has everything a modern hotel has as well. My family and I loved our stay. We had an amazing room/loft on the 5th floor or basically the top of the castle. Beautiful views of the Piemonte countryside. We also had our very own rooftop terrace! Ample air conditioning on the lower floor of the room but it was a little warm on the 2nd floor. We also just enjoyed exploring the castle! Beautifully decorated! Breakfast each morning was simple but very good with friendly service. Co-owner Elsa was very helpful recommending some lunch places in the nearby towns. The hotel also features a restaurant but was not open during our stay. Our family all enjoyed our stay, from the views, to the amenities, the beautiful decor inside, it was a wonderful stay. I was privileged to visit this absolutely beautiful venue with my lovely partner on the 3rd of December. The venue itself is a marvellous castle restored back to its previous glory where the owners Luca and Elsa have not spared any costs and have been very careful about every single detail. Being the son of a historian and archaeologist I was marvelled by everything that was happening around me. Once we arrived we were greeted by a very kind and gracious hostess that offered us a top of the range welcome. Once we sat our hostess Madalina helped us to a delicious wine menu. Once I picked my Barbera of choice, both my partner and I looked at the interesting and creative food menu. I am half Italian therefore fully fluent in Italian but my girl is not. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked for assistance and a member of the kitchen staff, Emiro, came out and patiently explained to my partner the whole menu in fluent English. We chose our dishes after some consideration and, I have to admit it was a hard task since we wanted to try everything on the menu. The food was done to perfection by Chef Sgrò and his team and served to us delicately and with careful timing by Madalina. The food was delicious and exquisitely presented. Both of us are used to fine dining in the United Kingdom and abroad, and I have to admit that these guys are not short at all of a Michelin Star (or more)! Well done to the team! Once we finished our dining experience we were ready to go, having the feeling that when it comes to hospitality we found a gold mine! We were unaware that the highlight of the evening was just about to take place…. At this stage we were greeted by Elsa, the owner, who extended her hospitality by giving us a full tour of the castle in perfect English. We were both in awe for her warmth and kindness, her knowledge of the castle and its history, and the beauty of the castle itself. They cater for private functions, and large parties like weddings or business conferences. I really recommend a stay in one of the rooms and perhaps a bit of relaxing in their very exclusive medieval spa! Something definitely worth it! Once we finished exploring the whole venue we were greeted by Elsa’s husband Luca, and what a gentleman. We had a perfect romantic dining experience and are very thankful to the hosts Luca and Elsa, and the rest of the team. Thank you for the privilege. Once we’re back from England we will definitely visit again.

Un capodanno imbarazzante, una caduta di stile e di professionalità impensabile per il contesto e le referenzialita' della struttura peraltro personalmente sperimentata in predenti occasioni. La sera del 31 invece con il pretesto della spartanita' medioevale si è deplorevomemte economizzato su qualità e servizio ai tavoli. Il tutto accompagnato da una animazione caciarona che ha trasformato la cena in un mix di confusione ed imbarazzo in particolare per gli ospiti che mi hanno accompagnato in questa imprevedibile disavventura.

Spesso dormire in un castello ha un grande fascino, ma poca comodità. Al contrario questa location affascina perché coniuga un grande fascino con una grande comodità. Tappa da consigliare vivamente. Le stanze sono perfettamente riscaldate, piene di confort ed il personale molto gentile.

Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni alla Rocca ed è stata una favola, un’ esperienza sensoriale che mai dimenticheremo. Non esistono aggettivi per descrivere questa struttura tutti sarebbero al di sotto di quello che è in realtà. Lo staff fantastico, Filippo superlativo.

Abbiamo trascorso la sera del 31 dicembre con amici. Molto consigliato il ristorante che propone piatti particolari con materie prime di qualità. Siamo stati ospiti una notte nella suite che ci ha lasciato a bocca aperta. C’è molta cura dei particolari e il personale è presente e preparato. Abbiamo avuto un inconveniente che è stato prontamente gestito da Martina con molta professionalità. È uno di quei casi dove le aspettative che avevamo sono state superate di gran lunga! Grazie

Abbiamo alloggiato per il ponte del 1 novembre approfittando dell'evento pubblicizzato direttamente sul loro sito ...halloween. La struttura è favolosa , al di sopra delle aspettative, la suite trinità è incantevole dotata di tutti i comfort. Abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio "stanza delle coccole" , una sorta di mini spa privata ,decisamente accogliente e rilassante . Tutto era perfetto ... si prevedeva un ottimo servizio per la cena di halloween ... location scelta apposta poiché super adatta. Arriva la nota dolente. Il posto per la cena prenotata in precedenza non c'è e veniamo , seppur gentilmente, parcheggiati in una parte della cucina della struttura , isolati dal resto dei clienti, la maggior parte dei quali non occupanti le camere nella notte a differenza nostra ndr. ( precisiamo che un ora dopo il nostro arrivo si verifica la stessa cosa con altre due coppie decisamente piu anziane di noi che con modi decisamente meno educati dei nostri riescono ad ottenere un tavolo aggiuntivo in mezzo agli altri ospiti, cio ha aumentato il nostro stupore e la nostra amarezza. Altra ndr.) Menu accettabile, soggettivo, seppur con servizio decisamente lento e inadeguato. Situazione decisamente imbarazzante che ci ha spinti ad abbandonare la cena prima del dolce. Colazione al mattino buona ma decisamente "limitata " , senza buffet e con pietanze esattamente pari agli occupanti della camera . Al momento del conto chiediamo un confronto per il disagio della cena che ha ovviamente compromesso la serata di halloween , motivo della scelta del periodo. Ci vengono gentilmente porte le dovute scuse ma il conto resta quasi praticamente invariato. Ci vengono solo e semplicemente decurtati i due dolci non consumati. Decisamente poco esaustivo nel complesso calcolando che il nostro "pacchetto" era ben tornito... suite per 3 persone, 3 cene , 2 spa private.... mediocre ma soprattutto imbarazzante cena in cucina . Peccato, sarebbe bastato veramente poco per dare 5 stelle... ma a questi prezzi, certi errori , vanno obbligatoriamente riconosciuti anche economicamente.

Manca qualcosa per l’eccellenza , cucina buonissima ma un paio di piccolissime pecche . Cortesia e simpatia del personale , il ragazzo che ci ha serviti ci ha anche accompagnati al giro di ronda , un bellissimo castello sia dentro che fuori .

Abbiamo passato presso la rocca una notte, location bella, stile medievale ben armonizzato con un tocco di moderno ed elegante. Camera bella, pulita, letto comodo. Ci sono 3 o 4 camere quindi l ambiente è assolutamente tranquillo e silenzioso. In cima alla rocca c è una terrazza che si può tranquillamente raggiungere anche la sera e che offre un paesaggio molto romantico. Personale cordiale e gentile. Io sono allergica ai latticini, l ho comunicato con anticipo, non ho potuto usufruire della colazione completa ma mi è stato comunque servito un muffin senza lattosio. Noi siamo andati apposta, il paese è piccolino e intorno non c è molto, consigliato per una serata romantica, abbiamo cenato al ristorante della rocca.
